Telah dilakukan penelitian terhadap delignifikasi unbleach pulp dengan oksigen singlet hasil reaksi fotokimia yang dihasilkan melalui proses Fotosensitizer Katil Diam FKD. Sistem FKD yang direalisasikan adalah sistem dengan membran pemisah dan sistem dengan pipa penghubung. Pada sistem dengan membran pemisah membran terbaik yang dapat digunakan adalah membran dengan konsentrasi polisulfon 25 . Pada kedua sistem yang direalisasikan delignifikasi berjalan cukup baik ditandai dengan bertambahnya nilai kecerahan dari 25 ke 28 sampai 32 skala ISO dan nilai ini dapat mencapai 42 dengan adanya penambahan peroksida 2 . The research on unbleach pulp delignification using singlet oxygen produced from photochemical reaction by Fixed Bed Photosensitizer FBP process have been conducted. There are two kind of FBP system realized i.e. with separated membrane and connected pipe. In the FBP system with separated membrane the membrane with 25 of polysulfone is the best one. In the two FBP system realized the brightness of unbleach pulp increased from 25 to 28-32 on ISO grade. The brightness can be 42 ISO if the system sinergized with 2 of peroxide.
