ISOLATION OF DERIVATIVE XANTHONE FROM THE STEM WOOD OF GARCINIA TETRANDA PIERRE

ABSTRAK

Garcinia tetranda Pierre adalah salah satu tumbuhan famili Clusiaceae yang memiliki kandungan senyawa fenolat seperti santon. Senyawa turunan santon diisolasi menggunakan metode kromatografi kolom gravitasi KKG kromatografi lapis tipis KLT dan pemurnian menggunakan metode rekristalisasi. Penentuan struktur senyawa menggunakan analisa data spektrum UV IR 1H-NMR dan13C-NMR. Senyawa turunan santon yang berhasil diisolasi dari kayu batang Garciniatetranda Pierre adalah 1346-tetrahidroksi-5-metoksisanton 1245 mg berupa padatan berwarna kuning dengan titik leleh 208-210 C.


ABSTRACT

Garciniatetranda Pierre is one of the family Clusiaceae which contain fenolat compound like xanthone. Derivative xanthone was isolated by gravitation column chromatography thin liquid chromatography and was purified by recrystallization. The structure was elucidated by analyze of spectroscopy data UV IR 1H-NMR dan13C-NMR. A new compound of derivative xanthone was successfully isolated from stem wood of Garcinia tetranda Pierre is 1346-tetrahydroxy- 5-methoxyxanthones 124.5 mg was obtained in yellow powder with melting point 208 210 C.
