ABSTRAK

Crane adalah suatu alat yang digunakan untuk membantu mengangkat dan memindahkan suatu objek yang berat dalam suatu pekerjaan. Keuntungan menggunakan craine adalah kemempuannya dalam memindahkan dan mengangkat suatu objek yang beratnya lebih besar dari craine itu sendiri. Pada aplikasinya craine dapat digunakan pada pekerjaan pemasangan konstruksi pemindahan alat-alat berat serta loading dan unloading Cargo di Pelabuhan. Salah satu jenis crane adalah Tower Crane. Tower crane yang digunakan saat adalah jenis tower crane kaki empat Fourangle tower crane. Untuk itu akan dilakukan analisa untuk mendesain sebuah tower crane baru dengan tiga kaki Triangle tower crane. Untuk menaganalisa digunakan crane jenis Liebherr 30 LC yang bertipe empat kaki sebagai pembanding. Sampai akhir tahun 2010 belum terdapat perusahaan yang memproduksi dan menggunakan tower crane jenis ini. Langkah awal untuk mendesain Triangle Tower Crane adalah merubah bentuk struktur tower kemudian digambar perancangannya dalam bentuk autocad. Dari perancangan kemudian dianalisa menggunakan program Ansys 12.0 untuk mendapatkan defleksi dan tegangan kritis serta berat dari struktur tower crane. Dari hasil analisa yang akan didapatkan kemudian dibandingan dengan Fourangle Tower Crane. Dari analisa perhitungan dan pemrograman Ansys 12.0 didapatkan defleksi maksimum pada struktur Triangle Tower Crane sebesar 374 mm Tegangan maksimum Tegangan Von Mises pada struktur Triangle Tower Crane sebesar 174 Mpa dan berat struktur dari Triangle Tower Crane sebesar 161135 kg. Dari analisa tersebut desain Triangle Tower Crane dapat dikatakan aman.


ABSTRACT

Crane is an equipment that used to lift and move an object heavy object on a work. The benefit of using crane is the ability to moving and lifting a heavier object than the crane its self. The application of using crane is on the construction building heavy weight equipment moving and loading and unloading process of cargo on the harbour. One of several types of crane is Tower crane. This kind of crane is fourangle tower crane types that use four legs as support. For this purpose we will analyze to design a new type of tower crane that use three support legs called Triangle Tower Crane. In analysis a Fourangle Liebher crane used as a comparation. Until 2010 there were not any companies that produce and use this kind of crane. The first step of designing Triangle Tower Crane is changing the tower structure after that the design is drew in autocad form. From the design then it is analyzed by using ANSYS 12.0 to getting the deflection critical load and the weight of the crane structure. The result got from the analysis then to be compared with the Fourangle Tower Crane. From the Ansys 12.0 computation and programming got the maximum deflection of Triangle Tower Crane structure is 3744mm maximum load Von Misses Load 174 MPa and the weight of the crane structure is 161135 kg. From the analysis we get conclusion that the design of Triangle Tower Crane is safe.
