ABSTRAK

Payload communication merupakan subsistem dari satelit yang menangani sambungan atau repeater komunikasi antara terminal yang satu ke terminal yang lain di bumi. Salah satu bagian dari payload communication adalah LNA. LNA merupakan bagian terpenting pada sistem receiver karena LNA ini merupakan rangkaian RF yang berfungsi untuk mengurangi noise yang ada ketika signal sudah diterima oleh antena yang dikuatkan oleh amplifier LNA dirancang menggunakan IC ADF 7021 dengan sistem PLLnya menggunakan external induktor sebesar 198 nH dan cristal sebesar 19680 MHz. Kriteria bahwa LNA dapat bekerja jika memiliki noise figure yang rendah dengan nilai maksimum sebesar 7 dB dengan nilai gain minimum sebesar 22 dB dan bandwidth 10KHz. LNA yang didapat memiliki besar noise figure sebesar 3 dB untuk gainnya menggunakan sistem dari AGC automatic gain control dan Bandwidth sebesar 9KHz.


ABSTRACT

Payload communication is a subsystem of the satellite repeater that handles the connection or communication between one terminal to another terminal on the earth. One of part the payload communication is the LNA. LNA is an important part in the receiver system because LNA is a RF series that serves to reduce the noise that is when the signal has been received by the antenna is amplified by the amplifier. Designed LNA using the IC ADF 7021 PLL system using an external inductor of 19.8 nH and crystal at 19.680 MHz. The cryteria that the LNA can work if it has a low noise figure with a maximum of 7 dB with a gain minimum value of 22 dB and bandwidth of 10kHz. LNA has a large noise figure of 3 dB for gain system using a AGC automatic gain control and Bandwidth for 9KHz.
