ABSTRAK

Satelit payload merupakan suatu space segment yang berfungsi sebagai repeater dari ground segment stasiun bumi dapat menerima dan memancarkan kembali sinyal dari stasiun bumi untuk komunikasi data yang memiliki dimensi terbatas nano satelit. Satelit terdiri dari berbagai macam modul seperti RF Uplink RF Downlink baseband modulator-demodulator PAD Packet Assembler Disassembler OBDH On Board Data Handling ADCS Attitude Determination Control System dan Power System. Demodulator berfungsi mengembalikan sinyal hasil modulasi ke bentuk semula. Tugas akhir ini bertujuan merancang dan membuat perangkat demodulator FSK yang bekerja pada baudrate 1200 dan memiliki dimensi yang kecil. Demodulator ini dibuat dalam dua strategi yaitu demodulator dengan TCM 3105 yang sistemnya belum terintegrasi dengan RF Uplink dan ADF 7021 yang sistemnya telah terintegrasi dengan RF Uplink. Modul yang didemodulasi ini bisa berupa pesan darurat atau pengaturan untuk satelit dari stasiun bumi. Hasil pengujian menunjukan bahwa kedua demodulator bisa mendemodulasi sinyal analog dengan baud rate 1200. Hasilnya sudah sesuai dengan spesifikasi yang dibutuhkan untuk baseband satelit IINUSAT-01. Demodulator ini telah diuji dengan menggunakan perangkat modulator melaui kabel dan radio. Pada akhir pengujian disarankan pemilihan demodulator dengan TCM 3105 untuk satelit Iinusat-01 karena memiliki umur pemakaian yang lebih baik daripada demodulator ADF 7021.


ABSTRACT

The satellite payload is a space segment that functions as a repeater of the ground segment earth stations to receive and retransmit signals from ground stations for data communication have a limited dimensions nano satellites. The satellite consist of various modules such as RF Uplink Downlink RF baseband modulator-demodulator PAD Packet Assembler Disassembler OBDH On Board Data Handling ADCS Attitude Determination Control System and Power System. A demodulator function is restore the modulating signal to their original form. This final project aims to design and make the FSK demodulator device that works on the baudrate 1200 and has a small dimension. Demodulator is made in the two strategies namely the TCM demodulator 3105 that the system is not integrated with the RF Uplink and ADF 7021 whose system has been integrated with the RF Uplink. The demodulated modules can be an emergency message or arrangements for the satellite from earth station. The test results showed that both the demodulator can demodulate the analog signal with a baud rate of 1200. The result is in conformity with the specifications required for the baseband IINUSAT-01 satellite. Demodulator has been tested using the modulator via cable and radio. At the end of the test suggested by the selection of TCM demodulator for satellite Iinusat 3105-01 because it has a service life that is better than 7021 ADF demodulator.
