ABSTRAK

Kestabilan menjadi perhatian utama dalam sistem tenaga listrik. Jika suatu sistem mengalami gangguan transien maka menyebabkan osilasi yang besar pada sistem sehingga dapat mengakibatkan generator lepas sinkron. Untuk mengantisipasi hal tersebut diperlukan suatu perangkat tambahan yang dipasang pada bus generator untuk meningkatkan kestabilan transien. Pada tugas akhir ini diusulkan sebuah perangkat yang berguna untuk mengurangi daya mekanis generator ketika sistem mengalami gangguan transien yaitu dengan menggunakan Capacitive Energy Storage CES. Untuk memperoleh parameter CES yang optimal pada sistem Single Machine Infinite Bus SMIB digunakan metode Differential Evolution Algorithm DEA. Metode kriteria luas sama adalah metode analisa untuk mengamati kestabilan transien. Metode ini merupakan metode perhitungan langsung untuk menentukan Critical learing Time CCT. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa pada sistem SMIB tanpa menggunakan CES diperoleh nilai CCT sebesar 0272 detik. Sedangkan pada saat pemasangan CES pada sistem SMIB diperoleh nilai CCT sebesar 0485 detik. Sementara dengan optimisasi konstanta CES menggunakan DEA pada sistem SMIB diperoleh nilai CCT sebesar 0574 detik dengan KCES sebesar 33646.


ABSTRACT

Stability is a major concern in electric power systems. If a system experiencing transient disturbances it cause large oscillations in the system that can lead to lose synchronous generator. To anticipate this case required other device that installed on the generator bus to improve transient stability. In this final project recommended a useful device to reduce the mechanical power generator when the system is experiencing transient disturbances using Capacitive Energy Storage CES. To obtain optimal parameters of the CES in Single Machine Infinite Bus SMIB system used Differential Evolution Algorithm DEA method. Equal area criterion method is an analysis method to observe the transient stability. This method is a direct calculation method to determine the Critical Clearing Time CCT. The result of simulation show that the SMIB system without CES give the CCT value as 0272 second. Whereas SMIB system with CES give the CCT value as 0485 second. While the CES constant optimized with DEA in SMIB system give the CCT value as 0574 second with KCES as 33646.
