PERANCANGAN ENCLOSURE PADA POMPA BOILER FEED WATER UNIT UTILITAS BATU BARA SEBAGAI UPAYA PENGENDALIAN KEBISINGAN

DESIGN OF ENCLOSURE AT BOILER FEED WATER PUMP UNIT UTILITY COAL AS AN EFFORT TO CONTROL THE NOISE

ABSTRAK

Pompa Boiler Feed Water berfungsi sebagai pemompa boiler feed water dari BFW tank ke steam drum proses produksi desuperheater quenching water. Pengukuran tingkat tekanan bunyi telah dilakukan oleh pihak departemen K3 di sekitar area pompa dan diperoleh hasil tingkat tekanan bunyi rata-rata sebesar 967 dB. Nilai tersebut melampaui nilai ambang batas yang ditetapkan oleh pemerintah melalui Permenakertrans No. 13MenX2011 dimana nilai ambang batas kebisingan di lokasi kerja sebesar 85 dB. Analisa tingkat kebisingan tiap frekuensi menunjukan bahwa pada frekuensi 1000 Hz tingkat kebisingan mencapai puncaknya yaitu sebesar 9485 dBA. Metode yang digunakan untuk mereduksi kebisingan adalah dengan penambahan enclosure. Dari hasil pembahasan yang dilakukan diperoleh kesimpulan sebagai berikut dari ketiga model enclosure yang telah dibuat yaitu yang terdiri dari bahan plywood dengan tebal inch. Desain dari enclosure terdiri dari 3 buah jendela satu buah pintu dan sebuah lubang angin sebagai lubang keluar angin dari fan pompa. Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh untuk luas dinding partisi sebesar 23 m2. Tingkat kebisingan tertinggi di area pompa boiler feed water terjadi pada frekuensi 1000 Hz yaitu sebesar 9463 dBA dan pada frekuensi 2000 Hz yaitu sebesar 9465 dBA. Setelah ditambahkan enclosure pada titik yang sama mengalami pengurangan yaitu pada frekuensi 1000 Hz menjadi 6442 dBA dan pada frekuensi 2000 Hz menjadi 604dBA.


ABSTRACT

Boiler Feed Water pump functions as boiler feed water pumping from the tank to the steam drum BFW production process desuperheater and quenching water. Measurement of sound pressure levels have been conducted by the Department of the K3 around the pump area and retrieved the results sound pressure levels on average by 967 dB. These values exceed the threshold value is set by the Government through Permenakertrans No. 13DownloadX2011 where the value of the threshold of noise in a workplace of 85 dB. The noise level of each frequency analysis showed that the frequency of 1000 Hz noise level reached its peak that is as big as 9485 dBA. The methods used for the reduction of noise is by addition of the enclosure. From the results of the discussion undertaken following conclusion of a third model enclosure that has been created i.e. which consists of plywood with a thick material inches. The design of the enclosure consists of 3 pieces of the window one door and a hole the wind as the wind out of fan vent pump. Calculation of the results obtained for the broad wall partition of 23 m2. The highest noise level in boiler feed water pump area occurred at a frequency of 1000 Hz that is as big as 9463 dBA and at a frequency of 2000 Hz is 9465 dBA. After the added enclosure at the same point experienced a reduction in the frequency of 1000 Hz into 6442 dBA and 2000 Hz frequency became 60.4 dBA.
