ABSTRAK

Dalam dunia nyata terdapat sistem yang terdiri dari unit produksi independen. Model konvesional data envelopment analysis DEA menggunakan jumlah masing-masing input dan output dari semua komponen unit sistem untuk menghitung nilai efisiensinya. Tugas akhir ini mengembangkan suatu model paralel DEA yang mengambil pengoperasian ke account masing-masing komponen dalam menghitung efisiensi sistem produksi paralel. Salah satu properti yang dimiliki oleh paralel DEA adalah inefficiency slack dari sistem yang dapat diuraikan ke dalam inefficiency slack dari komponen unitnya. Model paralel DEA akan membantu pembuat keputusan untuk mengidentifikasi komponen dan kemudian dapat melakukan perbaikan.


ABSTRACT

In the real world there are systems which are composed of independent production units. The conventional data envelopment analysis DEA model uses the sum of the respective inputs and outputs of all component units of a system to calculate its efficiency score. This final project develops a parallel DEA model which takes the operation of individual components into account in calculating the efficiency of the parallel production system. One of property owned by this parallel model is that the inefficiency slack of the system can be decomposed into the inefficiency slacks of its component units. Parallel DEA model will helps the decision maker identify inefficient components and make subsequent improvements.
