IMPLEMENTASI PENDEKATAN SIX SIGMA DAN CLEANER PRODUCTION DI PT. YAMAHA MUSICAL PRODUCTS INDONESIA

ABSTRAK

Kualitas merupakan suatu indikator yang perlu diperhatikan oleh perusahaan agar tetap eksis di era globahsasi seperti sekarang ini Karena dengan menghasilkan produk yang berkualitas. sedikit kemungkinan produk yang dihasilkan akan ditinggalkan oleh konsumen. Penelitian ini berusaha untuk menceba menyelesaikan pemasalahan yang sedang dialami oleh perusahaan dalam hal ini yaitu PT. Yamaha Musical Products Indonesia. Dimana permasalahan yang sedang dihadapi oleh permasahaan adalah tingginya produk cacat yang dihasilkan pada departemen painting. Perbaikan pada peneiitian iui dilakukan dengan menggunakan siklus six sigma define measure analyze improve dan control. Pada tahap define ditentukan pennasalahan yang akan dibahas dalam penelitian ini yaitu bagaimana komposisi cat yang optimal dari proses painting agar dapat meminimaJisasi kunci reject yang nantinya akan dihasilkan. Metode perbaikan improve dilakukan dengan menggunakan desain eksperimen taguchi. Variabel respon yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu jumlah kunci yang tennasuk dalam kategori cacat yogoore dan cacat butsu. Sedangkan variabel independen yang digunakan yaitu konsentrasi Clear YH thinner Butyl Carbytol dan Dye Liquid. Dari desain eksperimen yang dilakukan didapatkan hasil bahwa kombinasi bahan kimia optimal untuk larutan cat yaitu Neochakulon clear dengan konsentrasi 533 ml. TH thinner dengan konsentrasi 100 ml dan Dye Liquid dengan konsentrasi 14 ml. Dan dengan melakukan metode perbaikan yang teiah dilakukan didapatkan bahwa estimasi saving yang akan diperoleh perusahaan yaitu sebesar 98.528 UShari untuk Bulan Mei 2003.


ABSTRACT

In order to be survive in this era of globalization quality product must have be paid must attention in a company. Because mostly customer prefer to high quality ptoduct rather than tow quality product. This research concerns to solve problems based on case of PT. Yamaha Musical Products Indonesia. Its problems is high rejected product at the painting department. In order to carry out research six sigma define measure analyze improve and control are proposed to utilize. At the phase define we determined a problems to be discussed in this research that is how composition of optimal paint from process of painting in order to earn minimalization of reject key which later will be yielded. Method of Repair is conducted by using desain of experiment taguchi. Variable respon used in this research are classified key which is included in handicapped category of yo gore and handicapped of butsu. While independent variable research used is concentration Clear YH Thinner Butyl Carbitol and Dye Liquid. Based on the desain of experiment conducted we have result that combination of the optimal chemicals for the condensation paint that is Neochakulon clear with concentration 533 ml YH Thinner with concentration 100 ml and Dye Liquid with concentration 14 ml. After finishing the repairment of the product we could estimate saving that could be obtained by a company of98.528 USiday for Month of May 2003.
