ABSTRAK

Pertambahan penduduk dan peningkatan aktivitas mendorong ke arah peningkatan permintaan akan ruang dan kompleksitas aktivitas yang berpotensi mengubah penggunaan lahan menjadi lebih cepat dan cenderung negatif atau bersifat merusak. Aplikasi teknik Penginderaan Jauh dan Sistem Informasi Geografis dengan multi-temporal data dapat digunakan untuk memonitor dan menganalisa perubahan tataguna lahan dalam cakupan yang luas. ini relatif lebih murah dan cepat dibandingkan dengan metode konvensional. Hasil penelitian menggunakan Citra satelit Landsat ETM-7 tahun 2001 skala 1250.000 dan Peta Digital Bakosurtanal skala 1 25.000 tahun 1993 di sekitar Bendungan Sutami-Malang menunjukkkan bahwa terjadi pertambahan area pada kelas pemukiman sebesar 580 ha tanah kosong 1.160 ha sawah tadah hujan 9.180 ha hutan 1.595 ha dan belukar 8.665 ha. Sebaliknya kelas yang mengalami pengurangan area adalah kelas kebun 12.684 ha tegalan 1.530 ha air tanah sungai 755 ha dan sawah 3.793ha.


ABSTRACT

The growth of popuration read to increasing space demand and complority activity which have potency to alter the landuse become quicker and tend to the negativity or have the character of damage. Remote Sensing and Geographic Information System technique with multitemporal data can be applied to monitoring and analyse landuse change in wide coverage. Its cheper and quickly compared to a conventional method. Result of research shows that area accretion at settlement class equal to 580 ha wasteland 1160 ha wet ricefield 9180 ha forest 1595 ha and bush g665 ha. In other side class area which reduction are garden 12684 ha crop area.530 ha river 755 ha and rice field 3793 ha.
