ABSTRAK

Penentuan kadar besi ini dilakukan dengan metode spektrofotometri UV-Vis. Dimana dalam metode ini besi terlebih dulu direduksi dari Fe3 menjadi Fe2 dengan pereduksi natrium tiosulfat Na2S2O3 kemudian dikomplekskan dengan 47-difenil-110-fenantrolin bathofenantrolin dan ditambahkan larutan buffer asetat atau buffer ammonium dengan variasi pH 2-10 kemudian ditentukan panjang gelombang maksimum dari kompleks besi II-bathofenantrolin tersebut. Analisa selanjutnya adalah dari variasi pH larutan buffer asetat dan buffer ammonium akan ditentukan pH optimum buffer asetat dan ammonium. Sedangkan dari variasi konsentrasi pereduksi natrium tiosulfat akan ditentukan konsentrasi optimumnya dalam mereduksi Fe3 menjadi Fe2 dengan metode validasi menggunakan spektrofotometri UV-Vis pada panjang gelombang maksimum. Dari penelitian diperoleh panjang gelombang maksimum kompleks besi II-bathofenantrolin adalah 536 nm pH optimum buffer asetat adalah pH 4 dan 6 dengan RSD 0286 ppt dan 0418 ppt sedangkan pH optimum buffer ammonium adalah pH 9 dengan RSD 0729 ppt. Sedangkan dari variasi konsentrasi natrium tiosulfat diperoleh konsentrasi optimumnya dalam mereduksi Fe3 menjadi Fe2 adalah pada konsentrasi 12 ppm dengan tingkat keakurasian metode paling tinggi yang ditunjukkan oleh harga recovery 99375.


ABSTRACT

The determination of Iron III was used by UV visible spectrofotometric. In this method iron III must be reduced to iron II before by using sodium tiosulfate with variation of concentration then complected with 47-diphenil-110-phenantrholine bathophenantrholine and added acetic buffer and ammonium buffer with variation of pH 2-10 then determined maximum wavelength from complex of iron II-bathophenantrholine. From variation of pH acetic buffer and ammonium buffer will be determinated the optimum of pH acetic buffer and pH ammonium buffer and from variation of natrium tiosulfate will be determinated the optimum concentration to reduce iron III to iron II with prosen recovery by UV visible spectrofotometric in maximum wavelength from complex of iron II-bathophenantrholine. The maximum wavelength complex of iron II-bathophenantrholine from this reseaech as 536 nm optimum pH for buffer acetic is at 4 and 6 with RSD 0286 ppt and 0418 ppt while optimum pH foe buffer ammonium is at 9 with RSD 0729 ppt. According to the variation of natrium thiosulfate optimum concentration at 12 ppm has got reducing Fe3 to Fe2 with the highest accuration that showed by recovery at 99375.
