ABSTRAK

Military Hovercraft telah digunakan dalam berbagai operasi militer sebagai kapal pendarat pasukan maupun tank dari laut atau dari danau ke daratan sebab kendaraan ini mampu melakukan pendaratan pada pantai berlumpur dengan ground pressure yang rendah Hovercraft dapat bekerja maksimal apabila daya untuk thruster dan lifting sesuai dengan perencanaan yang tepat. Sistem thurster dan lifting Military Hovercraft dipengaruhi oleh besar daya dan jumlah main engine dalam mendistribusikan tenaga ke propeller dan blower dengan tetap mempertimbangkan tahanan dan kecepatan maksimal yang diinginkan. Military Hovercraft menggunakan satu Main engine lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan dua Main engine karena dengan menggunakan satu Main engine maka akan menghemat penggunaan bahan bakar dan maksimum paylodnya akan lebih besar. Dalam pemilihan main engine harus dilakukan matching antara main engine dengan propeller thrust fan sehingga sistem propulsi dalam hovercraft dapat bekerja secara optimal berdasarkan hasil perhitungan dan pemilihan main engine maka dapat dianalisa secara teknik daya yang dibutuhkan untuk sistem thruster dan lifting pada Military Hovercraft dengan menggunakan satu main engine.


ABSTRACT

Hovercraft Military have been used in various military operation as either army lander ship or tank from sea or from lake toward land because this vehicle is able to land to muddy beach by low ground pressure Hovercraft can work optimal while power of thruster and ljfiing as of proper design.Thurster and lifting system of Military Hovercraft affected by the magnitude of power and the number main engine while distributing power to propeller and blower by considering resistance and desired maximum speed. Military Hovercrafl which uses single Main engine is more effectif than another one which uses two Main engine because by using one Main engine then the use of fuel will decrease and its maximum paylod will be bigger in amount. When main engine is chosen matching between main engine and propeller thrust fan must be done so propulsion system in hovercraft can work optimally based on calculation result and by choosing main engine then it can be analized technically that the need of power for thruster and lifting system of Military Hovercraft by using of single main engine.
