SIMULASI PENGARUH TEGANGAN IMPULS TERHADAP ISOLASI KUMPARAN SISI TEGANGAN TINGGI TRANSFORMATOR DAYA 150 KV

ABSTRAK

Transformator daya merupakan unsur utama dalam penyaluran tenaga listrik. Adanya tegangan impuls pada transformator daya 150 kV baik yang disebabkan oleh fenomena alam yaitu petir maupun faktor dari dalam misalnya switching dapat mengakibatkan rusaknya isolasi kumparan transformator sehingga dapat menyebabkan terganggunya sistem penyaluran listrik. Oleh karena itu perlu dipelajari pengaruh yang ditimbulkan oleh adanya tegangan impuls yang masuk ke kumparan transformator. Caranya adalah dengan melakukan simulasi pengaruh tegangan impuls terhadap kumparan sisi tegangan tinggi transformator daya 150 kV menggunakan program MATLAB dengan besar tegangan impuls adalah 550 kV 650 kV dan 750 kV. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan disimpulkan bahwa dengan tegangan impuls pada kumparan transformator akan terjadi distribusi tegangan dengan gejala osilasi. Tegangan impuls 750 kV dapat menghasilkan tegangan puncak dengan nilai 57111 kV pada kumparan pertama transformator daya 150 kV.


ABSTRACT

Power transformer is an important factor in electrical distribution system. Impulse voltage which can caused by lightning or by switching operation can cause damage to the transformer winding and it will disturb the distribution system. That is why it is really needed to study the effect of the impulse voltage on transformer windings. The study can be done by simulate the effect of impulse voltage on 150 kV transformer windings with MATLAB program and the value of the impulse voltages that we use in this simulation are 550 kV 650 kV and 750 kV. From the research concluded that the impulse voltage those are simulated on 150 kV transformer windings can cause the distribution of the voltage with an oscilation indication. An 750 kV impulse voltage can produce 57111 kV of peak voltage in the first winding of 150 kV power transformer.
