PERENCANAAN INSTALASI PENGOLAHAN LUMPUR TINJA KOTA MERAUKE

PLANNING OF SEPTAGE TREATMENT PLANT IN MERAUKE

ABSTRAK

Selama ini pengolahan lumpur tinja penduduk Kota Merauke hanya memakai tangki septik padahal Kota Merauke mempunyai air tanah yang dangkal. Dengan demikian sistem tangki septik tidak cocok diterapkan karena peresapannya tidak akan berfungsi dengan baik dan akan membuat tangki menjadi cepat penuh sebelum waktunya. Untuk itu ketersediaan Instalasi Pengolahan Lumpur Tinja IPLT di Kota Merauke merupakan hal yang sangat mendesak. Dalam merencanakan bangunan pengolah limbah tinja terdapat beberapa dasar-dasar perencanaan yang harus diperhatikan terutama yang berkaitan dengan kuantitas buangan tinja yang dipengaruhi oleh jumlah penduduk yang dilayani dan jumlah fasilitas kota. Alternatif pengolahan lumpur tinja pada kota Merauke terdiri dari imhoff tankkolam stabilisasi yang terdiri dari kolam anaerobik kolam fakultatif kolam pematangan dan sludge drying bed . Dari hasil perhitungan jumlah dan dimensi dari masing-masing unit antara lain 1Imhoff tank Jumlah tangki 1 buah yang terdiri dari 4 kompartemen dengan panjang 65 meter lebar 25 m dan kedalaman 565 meter. 2Kolam anaerobik Jumlah kolam 2 buah dengan panjang 8 meter lebar 4 meter dan kedalaman total 35 meter. 3Kolam fakultatifJumlah kolam 2 buah dengan panjang kolam 19 meter lebar kolam 95 meter dan kedalaman total 2 meter. 4Kolam Pematangan Jumlah kolam 2 buah dengan panjang 18 meter lebar 9 meter dan kedalaman total 15 meter. 5Sludge Drying Bed Jumlah bak 3 bak masing-masing terdiri dari 10 bed dengan panjang bed 10 meter lebar bed 4 meter dan kedalaman total 1325 meter. Sedangkan estimasi dana yang dibutuhkan untuk pembangunan IPLT ini kurang lebih sebesar Rp. 3.499.185.39200


ABSTRACT

Until this time being sewage treatment existed in Merauke is only a septic tank. Whereas for area which has superficial ground water level like Merauke it is not recommended to use a septic tank system because the absorption mechanism will not happen well and then will cause an overload problem earlier than it should be. Hence sewage treatment plant STP in Merauke is a real need. In the planning of STP there are basics of planning that have to be concerned especially the one related to the quantity of the septage which is affected by population served and facility of the town. Alternatives of STP in Merauke consist of imhoff tank stabilization pond consist of anaerobic pond facultative pond and maturation pond and sludge drying bed. Based on the calculation dimension and quantity of each unit are 1Imhoff tank quantity 1 unit consist of 4 compartments with length 65 meter width 25 meter and depth 565 meter 2Anaerobic pond quantity 2 unit with length 8 meter width 4 meter and total depth 35 meter 3Facultative pond quantity 2 unit with length 19 meter width 95 meter and total depth 2 meter 4Maturation pond quantity 2 units with length 18 meter width 9 meter and total depth 15 meter 5Sludge drying bed quantity 3 units each consist of 10 beds with length 10 meter width 4 meter and total depth 1325 meter. While budget estimated for construction of STP is about Rp. 3.499.185.39200
