AbstrakMengingat adanya krisis energi maka penelitian ini dilakukan dalam rangka mengurangi beban kondensor yang dibutuhkan dalam kolom Fraksinator C-1-01 pada industri minyak bumi melalui modifikasi refluks ratio. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Coulumn Grand Compossite Curve CGCC. Sebelum hal itu dilakukan terlebih dahulu mendapatkan data-data kondisi operasi di pabrik untuk kemudian dibuat kurva True Boiling Point TBP. Setelah itu melakukan optimasi kolom dengan memodifikasi refluks ratio dan dilanjutkan dengan membuat profil CGCC. Hasil yang diperoleh berdasarkan analisa dari CGCC Column Grand Composite Curve menunjukkan bahwa desain pemakaian energi minimum adalah refluks rasio 15 dan suhu umpan optimum 359oC dengan beban kondensor 1187965854 kWatt. Dibandingkan dengan desain awal dengan stage 53 refluks rasio 17 dan suhu umpan 359 0C dengan beban kondensor 1278997878 kWatt diperoleh energy saving untuk beban kondensor 91032024 kWatt 711 .
ABSTRACT
AbstractConsidering the existence of crisis energy hence this research is conducted in order to reduce burden condenser which is required in columns Fractionator C-1-01 at oil industry through modification of reflux ratio. The method is Coulumn Grand Compossite Curve CGCC. Before that matter is conducted beforehand get data of operating condition in factory then made True Boiling Point TBP curve. Afterwards do the optimation of column with the modification of reflux ratio and continued by making CGCC profile. The result which based of analysis from Coulumn Grand Compossite Curve CGCC is indicating that the desain of using minimum energy is 15 refluk ratio and optimum feed temperature is 359oC with burden condenser 118796.5854 kWatt. Compared to early design by 53 stages 17 reflux ratio and feed temperature is 359oC with burden condenser 127899.7878 kWatt obtained saving energy for burden condenser is 91032024 kWatt 711 .
