EVALUATION OF CRUDE DISTILLATION UNIT II FRACTIONATION COLUMN C-101 BY CALCULATING ITS MINIMUM ENERGY IN UP-IV CILACAP

ABSTRAK

Mengingat adanya krisis energi maka penelitian ini dilakukan dalam rangka mengurangi beban kondensor yang dibutuhkan dalam kolom Fraksinator Crude Distillation Unit II C-101 53 tray pada industri minyak bumi melalui modifikasi refluks ratio. Sebelum hal itu dilakukan terlebih dahulu mendapatkan data-data kondisi operasi di pabrik dan data Analisa Crude laboratorium untuk kemudian dibuat kurva persen terdistilat ASTM D-86 lawan temperature. Setelah itu melakukan optimasi kolom dengan memodifikasi refluks ratio dan dilanjutkan dengan membuat profil CGCC. Hasil yang diperoleh berdasarkan analisa dari CGCC Column Grand Composite Curve menunjukkan bahwa desain pemakaian energi minimum adalah refluks rasio 283 dan suhu feed optimum 3409563 oC pada feed stage 50 dengan beban kondensor 111.803300 kWatt. Dibandingkan dengan desain awal dengan feed stage 50 refluks rasio 287 dan suhu feed 3407295 oC dengan beban kondensor 112.1659938 kWatt. diperoleh energy saving untuk beban kondensor sebesar 032 persen.


ABSTRACT

Considering the existence of crisis energy hence this research is conducted in order to reduce burden condenser which is required in columns Fraksinator C-1-01UP IV Cilacap at oil industry through modification of refluks ratio. The method is Column Grand Composite Curve CGCC. Before that matter is conducted before hand get data of operating condition in factory then made ASTM D-86 curve. Afterwards do the optimation of column with the modification of refluks ratio and continued by making CGCC profile. The result which based of analysis from Column Grand Composite Curve CGCC is indicating that the desain of using minimum energy is 2.83 refluk ratio and optimum feed temperature is 340.9563 oC with burden condenser 111803.300 kWatt. Compared to early design by 50 feedstage 2.87 refluk ratio and feed temperature is 340.7295 oC with burden condenser 112165.9938 kWatt obtained saving energy for burden condenser is 0.32 percent.
