ABSTRAK

Terminal Purabaya Surabaya memiliki aktifitas kendaraan bermotor yang sangat tinggi. Partikulat merupakan sumber pencemar udara yang dominan pada wilayah studi peningkatan pencemaran partikulat dapat membahayakan kesehatan bagi petugas dan pengunjung terminal. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menghitung tingkat konsentrasi partikulat untuk pembuatan peta pola sebaran partikulat di wilayah studi. Penelitian dilakukan dengan melakukan sampling udara ambien serta pengambilan beberapa data primer pada 8 titik sampling didalam lokasi terminal dan analisis laboratorium secara gravimetri untuk berat partikulat. Prosedur dan waktu pengambilan sampel yang dibagi atas empat interval waktu yaitu pagi siang sore dan malam mengacu pada Kep. Gub Kepala Daerah Tk. I Jatim No 128 Th. 1997. Padatnya aktifitas kendaraan bermotor didalam lokasi terminal menyebabkan tingginya konsentrasi partikulat pada beberapa titik sampling sehingga melebihi baku mutu udara yang ditetapkan sebesar 3 konsentrasi partikulat di dalam terminal menunjukkan 150 gm 3 3 rentang nilai 3810 gm sampai dengan 37273 gm nilai konsentrasi partikulat tertinggi terletak pada jalur keberangkatan bus kota. Terdapat beberapa upaya untuk mereduksi tingginya konsentrasi partikulat dengan cara perawatan dan pemeliharaan bus yang dapat mereduksi emisi sebesar 28 8211 30 mengatur kembali tata letak terminal dengan reduksi partikulat 3122 dan menggeser jam-jam padat dengan persen reduksi partikulat sebesar 333.


ABSTRACT

The Purabaya bus station Surabaya is replete with very high activities of the motorized vehicles. The particulate constitutes a dominant source of air pollution around the study area the increased particulate pollution is fairly hazardous for the health of the bus station attendants and prospective passengers. This research was carried out by calculating particulate concentration level with the purpose of mapping a pattern of particulate distribution at study area. The research was conducted by sampling the ambient air and collecting primary data in eight sampling points within the bus station and analyzing particulate weight gravimetrically in laboratory. Additionally the procedure and the time of sampling in which it was divided into four time intervals namely morning the day afternoon and night have been done as referred to the East Java Governor8217s Decree no. 1281997. The busy activities of the motorized vehicles in the bus station brought about the increase particulate concentration in several sampling points exceeding the air ambient air quality standard which has been established at 150 gm3 particulate concentration in the bus station indicated a range of 38.10gm3 up to 372.73 gm3. While the particulate concentration highest in the departure paths of the city buses. There are several measures to reduce the high particulate concentration for example the bus maintenance and repair are able to decrease emission rate of 28 8211 30 the site plan improvement can reduce particulate up to 3122 and better time management can reduce particulate at 333.
