Description:

Penentuan daerah tangkapan ikan memerlukan pengamatan persebaran konsentrasi klorofil di permukaan laut untuk menentukan tempat berkumpulnya ikan. Pada umumnya untuk mengekstrak informasi mengenai persebaran klorofil metode yang banyak digunakan adalah metode penginderaan jauh. Metode ini banyak digunakan oleh karena dapat diperoleh dalam waktu yang singkat dan lebih ekonomis dibandingkan dengan pengambilan data insitu di perairan laut. Citra yang digunakan adalah citra satelit Modis Aqua dengan menggunakan algoritma ATBD 19 Modis untuk menentukan konsentrasi klorofil pada daerah penelitian, dengan waktu penelitian pada musim barat. Daerah penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wilayah perairan Selat Bali. Dari penelitian ini dihasilkan peta komposit persebaran klorofil musim barat. Dari peta tersebut didapatkan konsentrasi klorofil a pada daerah penelitian pada kelas 0,01-0,5 mgm-3 sebesar 14.400 hektar atau 17,3%, kelas 0,5 - 1 mgm-3 sebesar 33.600 hektar atau 40,38%, kelas 1-1,5 mgm-3 sebesar 1.600 hektar atau 1,92%, kelas 1,5-1,8 mgm-3 sebesar 0 hektar atau 0, selebihnya sekitar 33.600 hektar atau 40,38% merupakan daerah yang terklasifikasi sebagai daratan dan daereah tutupan awan. Dengan metode pengujian klasifikasi menggunakan matriks konfusi, maka diperoleh ketelitian interpretasi sebesar 93,7%.

Research about determining fishing ground area need research of chlorophyl concentration distribution to determine fishing ground. Research about it has been done, and generally the most method for get information about chlorophyll a concentration distribution is remote sensing. This research use remote sensing. This method has been used by some people because by using this method can be got the result quickly and more economic than take in situ data in the sea. Image that use is satellite images aqua MODIS with use ATBD19 algorithm for choosing concentration in research area, time of research is west season. And the research area that using is territorial of Bali Strait. The result shows that west season chlorophyl distribution composite map. From this map is got chlorophyl a concentration in research area in low concentration class [0,01-0,5] mgm-3 14.400 ha or 17,3%, moderate concentration class ( 0,5-1 ] mgm-3 33.600 ha or 40,38%, high concentration class (1-1,5] mgm-3 1.600 ha or 1,92%, very high concentration class (1,5-1,8] mgm-3 0 ha or 0% the other about 33.600 ha or 40,38% is area which classified as land area and cloud area. By using confussion matrix method, mapping accrracy 93,7 % has been gotten.
