Description:

Permasalahan yang sering dijumpai dalam merencana pondasi tiang group adalah menentukan konfigurasi (susunan) tiang yang meliputi jumlah tiang, jarak antar tiang, kedalaman tiang dan biaya konstruksi sistem pondasi. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan di atas maka diperlukan suatu metode yang praktis sebagai dasar untuk menentukan jumlah dan kedalaman tiang sesuai dengan beban rencana yang ada. Untuk keperluan itu, dibuat suatu cara dengan menggunakan metode genetic algorithm, dengan program Matlab 7. Tugas akhir ini adalah menyusun suatu program bantu (software) untuk mendapatkan konfigurasi tiang yang paling optimum dari segi jumlah, ukuran dan kedalaman tiang pancang dengan bantuan program Matlab 7 memakai metoda genetic algorithm. Daya dukung tiang hanya dihitung berdasarkanfriction (friction pile ). Input dari program ini adalah beban vertikal (V), momen Mx dan My, dimensi tiang (diameter atau sisi), serta harga tiang per meter pemancangan. Selain itu diinputkan data tanah (SPT), ukuran pile cap, angka keamanan yang diinginkan (SF), jumlah tiang maksimum dalam baris dan kolom. Running program mempergunakan input beban jembatan standar Bina Marga BM- 100 untuk bentang 40 meter. Ukuran bentang ini diambil karena struktur bangunan bawahnya sebagian besar menggunakan pondasi tiang goup. Untuk menghindari kesalahan-kesalahan perhitungan yang dihasilkan oleh program bantu ini, maka dilakukan pengecekan seluruh nilai output yang dihasilkan dengan perhitungan secara manual.

The problems were usually found in designing of piles group foundation is to determine the configuration of piles which is consist of number of piles, spacing of pile, depth of embedgment and cost of foundation construction system. To solve those problem, a simplified method is needed especially as a basic to determine how many piles and depth of embedgment are used to carry the applied load. To fit that need, it was compiled a software using genetic algorithm used Matlab 7. This work make a listing program which is used for determining optimum configuration of piles group based on number of piles, dimension and the depth of embedgment using Matlab 7 with genetic algorithm method. Bearing capacity of piles are only calculated based on friction (friction Pile). Inputs of this program are vertikal load (V), moment Mx and My, dimension of piles and cost of piles. As well as, it need to be inputted soil test data (SPT), dimension of pile cap, safety factor which is wished, maximum number of piles in rows amd columns. Running of program use load input of middle span bridge of bina marga BM-100 for span 40 meters. Length of this span is taken because the most of its lower structure uses piles group foundation. To avoid of calculated mistakes which are resulted by this program, so it is needed for checking all output value which resulted with manual calculating.
