ANALISA PERBANDINGAN MODULASI QPSK OQPSK QAM DAN MSK PADA OFDM

ABSTRAK

Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing OFDM adalah sistem multicarrier yang memiliki kecepatan tinggi dan efisien digunakan untuk bandwidth yang terbatas. Pemilihan teknik modulasi yang sesuai pada sistem OFDM akan meningkatkan unjuk kerja dari penerimaan sinyal. Kriteria unjuk kerja yang dicari adalah probabilitas kesalahan bit Bit Error Rate terhadap perubahan nilai EbNo dan efisiensi bandwidth. Dari hasil pengujian pada kanal AWGN dan Rayleigh frekuensi selektif fading diperoleh hasil bahwa teknik modulasi QPSK OQPSK dan MSK memiliki kehandalan yang lebih baik dibandingkan 16 QAM. Pada kanal AWGN untuk mencapai BER Bit Error Rate 10-3 selisih nilai EbNo modulasi 16 QAM dengan ketiga modulasi yang lain adalah 65 dB atau sebesar 41 94 . Pada kanal Rayleigh fading selisih nilai BER 01 terhadap EbNo pada QPSK OQPSK dengan modulasi MSK sebesar 50 lebih baik sedangkan jika dibandingkan dengan 16 QAM adalah 625 lebih baik. Pada pengujian bandwidth didapatkan Bandwidth teknik modulasi 16 QAM dua kali lebih efisien dibandingkan modulasi QPSK dan OQPSK sedangkan untuk modulasi MSK lebih efisien sebesar 15 kali.


ABSTRACT

Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing OFDM is a multicarrier system with high bitrate and more efficiency which is used for limited bandwidth. Selecting appropriate modulation technic could increase the performance of system. Criteria of perfomance for this simulation is BER Bit Error Rate to the value of EbNo. The simulations through AWGN channels and Rayleigh frequency selective fading have result that QPSK OQPSK and MSK modulation technic have better performance than 16 QAM. Comparing 16 QAM with other modulation technic that applied on AWGN channel to reach BER value 10-3 has difference 65 dB or 4194 . On Rayleigh fading channel the difference BER value of MSK with QPSK and OQPSK is about 50 even in 16 QAM is about 625 . In bandwidth measurement the efficiency bandwidth of 16 QAM is twice better than QPSK and OQPSK even in MSK is one point half better than.
