SYSTEM CONTROL OF CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION CVT WITH FUZZY LOGIC

ABSTRAK

Dalam upaya meningkatkan drive performance dan efisiensi bahan bakar pada kendaraan maka dipertahankan kondisi spin 20 karena tercapai koefisien gesek ban dan jalan maksimum. Pada saat percepatan terjadi spin diakibatkan torsi mesin yang ke roda melebihi respon gesek ban dan jalan. Untuk mengatasi ini dibutuhkan sistem kontrol untuk merubah rasio CVT yang dapat memberikan besarnya torsi roda sesuai dengan yang dibutuhkan. Sehinga spin yang terjadi dapat dipertahankan pada kondisi optimum. Dalam tugas akhir ini digunakan system control berbasis fuzzy logic. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan simulasi simulink matlab 6.5 dan eksperimental dengan rancangan CVT pada kendaraan sesungguhnya. Hasil eksperimen menujukkan bahwa plant CVT dapat berfungsi pada kendaraan tetapi masih terdapat kekurangan yaitu spin roda yang didapat hanya pada kisaran 25 - 10 karena adanya losses rasio putaran sebesar 703 yang disebabkani slip yang terjadi antara belt dan pulley sehingga daya dari mesin tidak diteruskan secara maksimal oleh CVT untuk melawan torsi roda dan percepatan kendaraan yang dihasilkan kecil.


ABSTRACT

To raise up the drive performance and vehicle fuel efficiency its hold at 20 spin can be the maximum friction coeffitient between tire ans road. At accelerate it can be spin cause the torque respon is over high. To gain the problem needs the system control can change the CVT ratio it can make torque load as the tire needs. The spin can be hold on the optimum condition. In this final project used the system control with fuzzy logic. With the simulation method simulink matlab 6.5 and the experimental method use the CVT plan on real vehicle. Experimental result shown the CVT plan can using at the vehicle but there is a shortage such as the spin it has only the range 2.5 - 10 cause any rev losses ratio at 70.3 it happen cause slip through between belt and pulley the power from engine can not maximum pass on by the CVT to force back the tire torque and few accelerate result.
