PERANCANGAN GEROBAK PASIR BESERTA METODE PENGOPERASIANNYA BERDASARKAN PRINSIP ERGONOMI

ABSTRAK

Di Surabaya banyak toko bahan bangunan yang menggunakan gerobak pasir sebagai alat transportasi utama mereka. Toko bahan bangunan tersebut biasanya melayani pelanggan yang bertempat tinggal di daerah perkampungan yang jalannya relatif sempit dan sulit dilalui oleh kendaraan roda empat. Sehingga gerobak pasir menjadi alat transportasi yang handal dalam proses pengiriman material kepada pelanggan. Kaitannya dengan proses perancangan dan metode kerja kebanyakan pembuat dan juga operator gerobak pasir di toko bahan bangunan tersebut masih jarang yang menggunakan kaidah-kaidah ergonomi. Tanpa disadari hal tersebut akan mempengaruhi kondisi pekerja yang diakibatkan oleh kelelahan dan kurang efektifnya cara kerja yang dilakukan oleh mereka dan tidak jarang pula kelelahan tersebut memicu terjadinya cedera pada bagian tubuh para pekerja. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan analisa terhadap sikap kerja operator dengan menggunakan metode OWAS Ovaco Working Postural Analysis System untuk mengevaluasi dan menunjukkan tingkat keparahan dari sikap kerja yang ada selama ini. Sedangkan untuk perancangan gerobak pasir menggunakan metode QFD Quality Function Deployment yang berfungsi untuk memenuhi pengharapan dari konsumen atau dalam hal ini operator dan juga menggunakan data anthropometri. Dari hasil penelitian terlihat bahwa penerapan gerobak pasir perbaikan mampu mengurangi sikap kerja yang tidak baik dan mengurangi resiko terjadinya cedera. Selain itu konsumsi energi yang dibutuhkan oleh operator dalam melakukan aktivitasnya juga mengalami penurunan


ABSTRACT

In Surabaya there are many construction material shops use the sand wagon as a means of their especial transportation. The shop construction material usually serve the customer residing in countrified area which the way relative narrow and difficult passed by vehicle of four wheel. So that sand wagon become the reliable transportation appliance in course of delivery material to customer. Its bearing with job method and scheme process most of sand wagon makers as well as it operators in the construction material shop still seldom using the ergonomic methods. Unconsciously that will influence the worker condition which is resulted by the fatigue and less effective of the way jobactivity done by the worker and not rarely also the fatigue can trigger the happening of injuring at body workers. This research analysed the attitude work of operator by using OWAS Ovaco Working Postural Analysis System method to evaluate and show the risk level of the jobactivity attitude during the time. While for the scheme of sand wagon use the QFD Quality Function Deployment method which has function to fulfill expectancy of consumer or in this case operator as well as using the data of anthropometry. From the result it have shown that applying of repair sand wagon can lessen the bad jobactivity attitude and lessen the risk happening of injuring. Besides that the consumption energi required by operator in doing his activity also shown the degradation
