ABSTRAK

Limbah plastik merupakan masalah yang sudah dianggap serius bagi pencemaran lingkungan khususnya terhadap pencemaran tanah. Salah satu solusi yang dapat diterapkan dalam penanganan limbah atau sampah plastik ini adalah dengan mendaur ulang. Dalam menyelesaikan semua isu yang berkenaan dengan manajemen sampah dibutuhkan sebuah pendekatan secara holistic yang memandang keseluruhan sebagai sebuah sistem Vesilind et al 2003. Untuk itu dibutuhkan sebuah sistem pengelolaan yang terintegrasi dimana seluruh elemen yang ada pada sistem turut berpartisiasi aktif. Pengelolaan sampah plastik yang disusun disini adalah sistem terintegrasi dengan pendekatan ergonomi total yaitu integrasi antara ergonomi mikro dan makro. Integrasi keduanya membawa kerangka kerja dalam mengoptimalkan kesesuaian antara manusia teknologi dan organisasional. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini antara lain sistem pengelolaan sampah plastik terintegrasi dengan meningkatkan peran serta masyarakat melalui sosialisasi melalui media poster maupun pemberian insentif teknologi pengolahan sampah plastik fasilitas pendukung pengolahan sampah plastik rancangan stasiun kerja yang mempertimbangkan faktor ergonomis serta sistem manajerial dengan memanfaatkan TPS sebagai tempat pengolahan sampah tahap pertama. Dihasilkan pula rancangan buku Guideline Pengelolaan Sampah Plastik.


ABSTRACT

Nowadays plastic waste is becoming a big problem and even be more seriously for environmental continuing especially for soil quality. Recycling is a strategy that can be done to solve this problem. Not all kind of plastics can be recycled and every kind of plastics have its own processing method. All issues related to managing solid waste must be addressed using a holistic approach Vesilind et al 2003. Therefore an integrated plastics waste management are needed which is all element related to the system had to participated active. This recommended plastic waste management system is an integrated management system using totalergonomics approach. Totalergonomics are integration between microergonomics and macroergonomics. This framework usability is a part of a complex process optimizing the three-way fit between people technology and organization. This research present an Integrated Plastic Waste Management System an integrated management system which is organized into five major perspectives such as functional activities problems and constraints technological options crusher plastic machine stakeholder ergonomics facilities and optimalization the temporary dump site TPS function as 2nd place after household for the next processing plastic waste. The second result of this research is a strategic approach to increasing the public careness using some media such as poster about how to disposing plastic waste waste categorizing and to processing which is embraced into one guidebook.
