ABSTRAK

PT Petrokimia Gresik adalah perusahaan Badan Usaha Milik Negara penghasil pupuk. Adapun yang menjadi permasa-lahan adalah bagaimana menentukan jumlah dan lokasi gudang yang tepat agar bisa meminimalisasi semua biaya dengan tidak mengesampingkan kualitas layanan terhadap konsumen. Peneliti-an ini dilakukan untuk daerah Jawa Timur kecuali Pulau Madura sehingga titik kandidat lokasi gudang berjumlah 26 titik. Untuk mencapai kondisi yang lebih baik dilakukan pende-katan heuristik Genetic Algorithms GAs sebagai prosedur solu-si. Di mana dibuat program dalam software Microsoft Visual Ba-sic untuk membantu proses tersebut. Dalam pelaksanaannya dila-kukan sembilan kombinasi probabilitas crossover dan mutasi de-ngan masing-masing kombinasi dilakukan running sebanyak 10 kali dengan jumlah generasi sebanyak 100. Dari kesemuanya di-pilih skenario dengan biaya paling kecil untuk dijadikan sebagai solusi. Hasil pendekatan dengan metode Algoritma Genetika dida-patkan jumlah optimal gudang yaitu 10 buah diantaranya adalah Gresik Sidoarjo Mojokerto Jombang Bojonegoro Probolinggo Bondowoso Jember Situbondo Banyuwangi. Dengan penghe-matan sebesar Rp 3.280.224.634 bila dibandingkan dengan kon-disi saat ini untuk kurun waktu satu tahun.


ABSTRACT

PT Petrokimia Gresik is a BUMN company which produces fertilizer. The problem is how to determine number and warehouse location that can minimize total cost without disregard service quality toward consumers. This research is done for East Java region without Madura so the point of warehouse location candidate has amount of 26 points. In order to gain the better condition the heuristic approach of Genetic Algorithms GAs has been done as the solution producer. A program on Microsoft Basic software was made in order to help the process. Within the implementation it carries out nine combinations of crossover probability and mutation by running 10 times for each combination with 100 amount of generation. From all results scenario with minimal total cost was selected as the solution. The result of approaching with Genetic Algorithm method it was obtained the optimal warehouse amount of 10 such as Gresik Sidoarjo Mojokerto Jombang Bojonegoro Proboling-go Bondowoso Jember Situbondo Banyuwangi. And the saving is about Rp 3.280.224.634 corresponding with current condition.
