ABSTRAK

Issue konservasi energi banyak dipakai terutama pada pemanfaatan sistem pendinginan pasif dan penerangan alami. Di Indonesia dengan cahaya matahari yang berlimpah perlu dimaksimalkan penggunaannya sebagai sumber penerangan alami pada siang hari sehingga dapat menghemat penggunaan energi dan meningkatkan kinerja pengguna bangunan terutama pada bangunan komersial seperti pada bangunan kantor. Desain selubung bangunan dan luas bukaan sangat mempengaruhi perolehan cahaya matahari dalam bangunan. Sehingga untuk pengoptimalan penerangan alami pada bangunan kantor diperlukan desain selubung bangunan dengan luas bukaan yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan desain yang paling optimal dari selubung bangunan terhadap kenyamanan visual penerangan alami pada bangunan kantor. Metode penelitian yang dipakai bersifat kuantitatif yaitu melakukan pengukuran dari hasil eksperimen dengan media model dan simulasi komputer program Superlite yang hasilnya akan dikaji dan dijadikan dasar klasifikasi ke dalam panduan desain optimasi penerangan alami pada bangunan kantor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semakin kecil bukaan mengakibatkan mengecilnya nilai tingkat pencahayaan dan distribusi yang kurang merata sementara penambahan dan semakin panjang elemen pelindung mengakibatkan menurunnya tingkat pencahayaan dan distribusi cahaya semakin merata. Desain selubung bangunan kantor yang optimal pada penerapan penerangan alami terjadi pada persentase bukaan yang paling besar 70 dengan pelindung light-shelf dan pelindung gabungan horizontal light-shelf dengan bentang pelindung 90 cm. Hasil ini dapat dijadikan rekomendasi pada optimalisasi desain selubung bangunan kantor terhadap kenyamanan visual penerangan alami.


ABSTRACT

The issue of energy conservation is much used especially with the use of passive cooling system and daylighting. In Indonesia with substantial amount of sun light it is necessary to maximize its use as the source of daylighting during the day in order to save the use of energy and to improve the performance of the building such as office building. The design of building envelope and the area of its opening are very influential towards the finding of sunlight inside the building. Therefore the design of building envelope with the accurate area of opening is needed to optimize daylighting in office building. This study has the perpose to know the optimal effect and design of building envelope towards the comfort of daylighting visual in office building. The method used is quantitative that is to measure from the result of the experiment using model media and simulation of Superlite program computer it which the result will be studied and is used as the basic of classification into the guide of daylighting optimizing design in office building. The result of the study shows that the smaller the opening in office building the lower the value of daylighting level as well as distribution which is not even while the addition and the longer the protective element can result in the decrease of the lighting level and the light distribution. The optimal envelope design of office building in the application of daylighting happens at 70 of lightself protector opening and light-self horizontal combined protector which is 90 cm in length. This result can be used as a recommendation in optimizing the envelope design of building towards the visual comfort of daylighting.
