ABSTRAK

Gudang adalah salah satu elemen penting dalam system distribusi. Gudang mempunyai banyak fungsi diantaranya adalah untuk menyimpan barang jadi dan untuk memanajemen demand yang seasonal. Karena fungsinya yang sedemikian penting itulah maka diperlukan design dan control yang optimal untuk gudang. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan proses alokasi pupuk untuk multi gudang. Dalam gudang terdapat beberapa pupuk yang berbeda nilai throughputnya throughtput didefinisikan sebagai banyaknya perjalanan inout di gudang dari jenis pupuk tertentu. Jadi semakin tinggi nilai throuhputnya pupuk akan lebih diprioritaskan untuk ditempatkan pada tempat yang dekat dengan titik inout gudang. Selain itu jarak perpindahan yang dilalui pupuk juga harus minimal. Dalam penelitian pupuk menempati beberapa gudang. Dimana setiap gudang berbeda periode inventorynya. Pada suatu waktu ada gudang yang over storage ada yang kosong dan sebaliknya. Oleh karena itu akan ada proses konsolidasi antar gudang agar penyimpanan pupukberlangsung secara efisien. Dari hasil penelitian terlihat bahwa jarak perpindahanpupuk sudah minimal dan konsolidasi gudangpun berlangsung dengan baik.


ABSTRACT

Warehouse is one of important elements in distribution system. Warehouse has many function two of them to save finished good and for management seasonal demand. Because of the important function so warehouse needs optimally design and control. Product allocation process for multi warehouses has been done in this research. In a warehouse there is several item products which different value of throughputs. Throughput is define a number of trips inout in warehouse for product . So if value throughput is high priority alocation product will be high.Beside that handling distance product must be minimally. Product saved in several warehouse. That each warehouse has different inventory periods. In on periods there are warehouse which have over storage and there are warehouse which have minus storage. Therefore a consolidation process between warehouse so product storage will be efisienly. From output research we may conclude that product handling distance has been decreased and warehouse consolidation is working good.
