STUDY OF SEDIMENT TRANSPORT IN WONOKROMO RIVER AS DISMISSAL CHANNEL IN TOWN SURABAYA

ABSTRAK

Kali Wonokromo mempunyai peranan yang sangat penting bagi penduduk kota Surabaya pada umumnya dan bagi penduduk di sekitarnya pada khususnya. Hal ini disebabkan kali Wonokromo merupakan saluran sudetan dari Kali Brantas yang berfungsi mengalirkan debit banjir dari Dam Jagir langsung ke Selat Madura. Sebagai saluran banjir banjir kanal Kali Wonokromo tidak mampu menarik aliran dari saluran saluran drainase kota karena elevasi permukaan airnya yang selalu berada lebih tinggi daripada elevasi saluran drainase. Pada tugas akhir ini akan dilakukan perhitungan terhadap angkutan sedimen Kali Wonokromo. Perhitungan dilakukan dengan menggunakan rumus sedimen yang berdasarkan pada gradasi butirannya. Besar debit Dam Jagir yang digunakan bervariasi berdasarkan debit minimum rata rata ataupun maksimum pada tiap musim. Selain itu juga digunakan debit variasi sebesar 0 m3dt 50 m3dt 100 m3dt dan 200 m3dt. Untuk analisa perubahan kecepatan serta elevasi digunakan program bantu Duflow 2.04 Dari hasil penelitian terlihat bahwa angkutan sedimen pada muara Kali Wonokromo mencapai maksimum pada 001568 m3det dan mencapai hasil minimum pada 374.10-11 m3det.


ABSTRACT

The Wonokromo river have the very important role for townee Surabaya generally and for population around especially. Because Wonokromo river represent the channel from functioning Brantas river thath conduct the floods directly from Draught Jagir to Strait Madura. As floods channel Wonokromo river is unable to draw the stream from channels of town drainage because its elevation of water level which always reside in higher than elevation of drainage channel. In this final work will be done by calculation to transportation of sediment Wonokromo river. Calculation done by using sediment formula which is pursuant to the material gradation. The charge of Draught Jagir used are varieted to minimum mean and maximum at every season.. The others variation that used is to 0 m3dt 50 m3dt 100 m3dt and 200 m3dt. To analyse the speed change and also elevation used by a assistive program Duflow 2.04 From research result showed that transportation of sediment at estuary Wonokromo river reach maximum at 001568 m3det and reach result of minimum at 374.10-11 m3det.
