ABSTRAK

Hovercraft 14 M direncanakan berdasarkan rancang bangun yang disiapkan bersama antara PT Hoverindo Nusa Persada dengan TNI Angkatan Laut.Hovercraft ini dioperasikan oleh TNI Angkatan Laut untuk mendukung kinerjanya guna mengamankan Negara Republik Indonesia. Hovercraft didesain dengan panjang 14 meter lebar 62 m kecepatan 35 knot dan daya angkut personil 15 30 penumpang. Hovercraft dibuat dengan tetap memperhatikan nilai estetika dan juga nilai fungsionalnya sebagai alat penunjang operasional TNI Angkatan Laut maka dari itu diperlukan analisa yang tepat dan efisien dalam pembangunannya untuk mendapatkan hasil yang maksimal. Selama ini dalam pembuatanpembangunan hovercraft dibuat model prototype untuk menganalisa drag yang dialami oleh hovercraft kemudian model ini diuji dalam Towing Tank tetapi hal ini memerlukan biaya yang tidak sedikit sehingga akan memperbanyak biaya produksi selain itu memerlukan waktu yang relatif lama. Karena itu akan dilakukan suatu metode yang relatif cepat dan tidak memerlukan biaya yang mahal untuk menganalisa drag yang dialami oleh Hovercraft yaitu dengan pendekatan CFD.


ABSTRACT

Hovercraft 14 M planned based on a design that made both of PT. Hoverindo Nusa Persada and TNI Navy. This Hovercraft is operating by TNI Navy to support their duty in secure Indonesia teritory. The Hovercraft is designed with 14 m in length Width 62 m speed 35 knots and personells load within 15-30 persons Hovercraft made by keep pay attention to estetics value and its function value as supporties device of TNI Navy operation by this condition it need effisient and exact analysisi during its buildings process to reach maximum result. During Hovercraft building process is made prototype to analize the drag to Hovercraft then this model is tested in Towing Tank but this activity spend a lot of money that made the cost production more expensive and it need longer time too. For this term will made faster methode and less of money to analize Drag that against Hovercraft it is CFD approach
