RANCANG BANGUN METER KWH PRABAYAR PELANGGAN FASA TUNGGAL MELALUI PLC POWER LINE CARRIER BERBASIS MIKROKONTROLER

ABSTRAK

Pada saat ini listrik telah menjadi kebutuhan yang cukup penting hampir sebanding dengan kebutuahn primer. Namun pencatatan meter kWh dilakukan secara manual karena kWh meter bersifat analog. Sehingga kegiatan pencatatan meter kWh memerlukan waktu cukup panjang dan sumber daya manusia yang banyak pula. Guna meningkatkan efektivitas waktu dan sumber daya manusia maka sistem pembayaran dari konsumsi tenaga listrik dapat dilakukan dengan pembayaran dimuka prabayar. Sehingga diharapkan dengan sistem ini segala kekurangan dari sistem pembayaran listrik pascabayar bayar dibelakang dapat teratasi. Dalam tugas akhir ini dibuat meter kWh yang nilai kWhnya diisikan secara prabayar. Meter kWh ini dibuat dengan menggunakan meter kWh digital yang digabungkan dengan mikrokontroler. Dan untuk sarana komunikasinya menggunakan modem PLC Power Line Carrier. Artinya data dilewatkan melalui jaringan listrik bertegangan sehingga tidak perlu membangun infrasturktur baru untuk jalur komunikasinya. Dengan menggunakan modem PLC data dari mikrokontroler diubah menjadi gelombang analog berdasarkan fungsi frekwensiFSK Frequency Shift Keying. Teknik ini mempunyai tingkat kekebalan terhadap noise sinyal gangguan yang cukup baik. Dengan pengaturan lebar data yang tepat dan frekwensi dari gelombang carrier data dapat dikirimkan dengan baik meskipun jarak yang ditempuh cukup jauh.


ABSTRACT

Today Electricity becomes primary needen that very important almost same with primary goods. But the electrical record still manual one by one cause the meters are analog. Because of that this activity needs a lot of time and much human resources. To increase the effectivity of time and human power we need the new system. The prepaid system of electricity maybe can solve this problem. With prepaid technology may help to reduce the record of electricity problem. In this thesis value of kWh fills up to the meters using prepaid system. These meters build with combining digital meters and microcontroller. And for communication using PLC Power Line Commuication Carrier modems. It means modem had function to modulating data so it can past over electrical network The modem change data from digital type into analog type using FSK Frequency Shift Keying tehnique. FSK tehnique able to protect data from the moise. By selecting of baud rate and frequency the data can receive well even the distance so far.
