DYNAMICS MODEL OF NUTRIENT PHYTOPLANKTON INTERACTION IN THE PRESENCE OF VIRAL INFECTION

ABSTRAK

Banyak kekayaan sumber daya alam didapat dari laut yang sangat penting bagi kehidupan manusia salah satunya adalah keberadaan populasi plankton. Plankton adalah organisme mikroskopik yang mengapung bebas di dalam air. Populasi plankton terdiri dari phytoplankton plankton tumbuhan dan zooplankton plankton hewan. Sebagai rantai makanan yang utama populasi phytoplankton sangat dibutuhkan bagi kehidupan populasi ekosistem yang hidup dalam laut karena phytoplankton dapat membuat makanan sendiri dengan menggunakan bantuan energi matahari Keberadaan populasi virus dapat mengakibatkan populasi phytoplankton mudah untuk terinfeksi dikarenakan populasi virus lebih besar dari populasi phytoplankton hal tersebut dapat menimbulkan kepunahan populasi phytoplankton. Dari hasil analisa model N-S-I. Nutrisi-Susceptible-Infection dari tugas akhir ini didapat bahwa model N- S-I tanpa laju infeksi dari phytoplankton yang terinfeksi lebih baik dari pada model N-S-I dengan adanya laju infeksi phytoplankton yang terinfeksi sebab phytoplankton yang mudah terinfeksi tapi belum mengidap penyakit dapat hidup dengan mengkonsumsi nutrisi dengan maksimal tanpa adanya laju infeksi dari phytoplankton yang terinfeksi.


ABSTRACT

Many natural resources can take from the sea. Ones that very important to human life is plankton population. Plankton is microscopic organism that float in the water. Plankton population consist of phytoplankton and zooplankton as major foodchain phytoplankton population is needed to ecosystem life in the sea because phytoplankton can make food with solar energy. Virus population makes phytoplankton population easy to infected because virus population is bigger that phytoplankton population so extinction of phytoplankton population will happened. Result of NSI model analysis from this paper is NSI model without infection rate of infected phytoplankton is better than NSI model with infection rate. Because susceptible phytoplankton can life with consumed nutrition maximally without infection rate of infected phytoplankton.
