ABSTRAK

Di suatu pusat pelayanan sarana angkut bengkel tercecernya minyak pelumas biasa terjadi. Minyak pelumas tersebut kemudian akan terbawa dalam saluran drainase. Situasi ini akan mencemari lingkungan oleh karena itu suatu perawatan perlu untuk diselenggarakan. Teknik yang dapat digunakan untuk mengolah minyak pelumas yang mencemari air tersebut adalah fitoremediasi. Kayu apu dapat digunakan untuk tujuan ini. Untuk memahami proses fitoremediasimaka penelitian ini dilakukan. Di dalam penelitian ini kayu apu ditempatkan di dalam reaktor kaca. Menggunakan sistem batch. Konsentrasi minyak peluas yang digunakan dalam air pada penelitian ini adalah 600 mgl dan 500 mgl di mana kekentalan minyak pelumas yang digunakan pada konsentrasi ini berbeda yaitu. SAE 40 dan SAE 50. Beberapa reaktor akan menggunakan aerasi. Efisiensi yang paling tinggi pada penurunan TPH adalah 9833. Hasil ini diperoleh dari reaktor yang menggunakan proses aerasi di mana kekentalan minyak pelumas yang digunakan adalah SAE 50 dan konsentrasi minyak pelumas yang digunakan di dalam air adalah 500 mgl.


ABSTRACT

In a vehicle service station spill of lubricant commonly happens. It will be flushed to drainage system. This situation will contaminate the environment therefore a treatment needs to be conducted. One technique that can be used to treat used-lubricantcontaminated water is phytoremediation. Kayu apu can be used for this purpose. To understand the remediation process this research is conducted. In this research kayu apu is placed in glass reactors. A batch system is utilized. The consentrations of used-lubricant in the water used in this research are 600 mgl and 500 mgl in which these consentrations are applied for different viscosity of lubricant i.e. SAE 40 and SAE 50. More over some reactors will be aerated. The highest efficiency of degradation of TPH are 9833. This result is obtained in the reactor with aeration process in which the viscosity of used-lubricant is SAE 50 and the concentration of usedlubricant in water is 500 mgl.
