ABSTRAK

Musik digital saat ini sudah sangat populer dan mudah didapatkan. Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi khususnya media penyimpanan data berkembang pula jumlah musik digital dan perkembangan ini sangat pesat. Sehingga untuk menemukan lagu yang diinginkan dari koleksi musik digital yang sangat banyak tersebut khususnya yang sesuai konteks diperlukan waktu yang cukup lama. Untuk itu diperlukan suatu search engine yang dapat mempercepat proses pencarian. Semantic web adalah salah satu teknologi yang dapat digunakan untuk membangun search engine musik tersebut. Pendekatan semantic web adalah dengan menggunakan meta-data sebagai dasar pencarian musik. Dengan semantic web suatu resource dapat diidentifikasikan berdasarkan URI sehingga dapat ditempatkan dimanapun. Sedangkan metadata dari resource memungkinkan pencarian musik yang sesuai dengan konteks pencarian yang diinginkan oleh pengguna. Pada tugas akhir ini akan dibangun suatu search engine yang diberi nama iMooziCK yang menggunakan semantic web untuk pencarian konten digital musik dalam format MP3 berdasarkan konteks yang diinginkan oleh pengguna. Hasil pencarian yang menggunakan search engine iMooziCK ini ternyata lebih sesuai dengan konteks dibandingkan dengan search engine yang berbasis kata kunci. Dengan hasil pencarian yang sesuai konteks ini pengguna tidak dipusingkan dengan garbage information ataupun information flooding.


ABSTRACT

Nowadays digital music could be easily found. The rapid development of technology especially in data storage technology also has an impact on the pacing growth of digital music collection. Given this condition searching for certain digital music that matches a given context would take tremendous time. Therefore we require a search engine that could boost this searching process. Semantic web is one of the technologies that can be used for building such search engine. The semantic web approach is by utilizing the metadata of a content as the basis for searching content based on a given context. In semantic web we can identify a resource by its URI which means that a resource can be placed anywhere anytime and by anybody in the web. On the other side the resources metadata can be used as a basis for searhing content that matches a given context. In this final assignment we build a semantic web based search engine called iMooziCK that uses semantic web as the basis to find a content mp3 according to the context given by the user. Our result shows that querying music collection using iMooziCK to find certain content given certain context was more context matched than keyword based search engine. With this context based search engine the user will no longer worry about garbage information or information flooding.
