ABSTRAK

Tinggi gelombang di area kolam labuh merupakan salah satu faktor yang harus diperhatikan agar sebuah pelabuhan dapat memberikan kenyamanan dalam kegiatan bongkar muat kapal. Untuk menekan tinggi gelombang di kolam labuh dapat dilakukan dengan membangun pemecah gelombang. Dalam merencanakan sebuah layout pemecah gelombang perlu diperhatikan bahwa gelombang yang berjalan dari laut dalam ke perairan yang dangkal mengalami tranformasi diantaranya proses yang terjadi adalah wave shoaling, refraksi, difraksi, refleksi dan gelombang pecah. Untuk mempermudah menelitinya , maka pemodelan dilakukan. Pada tugas akhir ini dilakukan pemodelan pemecah gelombang untuk pelabuhan Tarebung Kabupaten Sumenep, hal ini karena masih tingginya gelombang di pelabuhan tersebut. Beberapa simulasi pemodelan refraksi dan difraksi dilakukan untuk mengetahui layout yang sesuai melalui suatu penghalang (breakwater) dengan tinggi gelombang awal H0= 3,26 m (arah 225^0), 3,47m (arah 270^0), dan 3,24m (arah 315^0).


ABSTRACT

Wave height in port area is one of factor that must be considered to get a good performance of port especially for ship loading-unloading process. According to that purpose we can build breakwater to reduce wave height in arrangement of breakwater layout. It must be considered that the wave shape transformed from deep sea to shallow sea, for exmple are wave shoaling, refraction, diffraction, reflection, and wave breaking. A breakwater model was considered for Sumenep Tarebung port in this final project to reduce the wave height in port area. Some refraction and diffraction model were constructed to find the best layout for breakwater with H0= 3,26 m (225^0 direction), 3,47m (270^0 direction ), and 3,24m (315^0 direction).
