ABSTRAK

Polutan dari polusi udara yang berupa SO2 yang sebagian besar berasal dari sektor industri. Polutan ini memiliki berbagai dampak yang berbahaya dan meresahkan masyarakat baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung. PT. Petrokimia Gresik sebagai salah satu industri produsen pupuk yang berlokasi di Kabupaten Gresik merupakan salah satu penghasil SO2 dari sektor industri. Oleh karena itu penyebaran SO2 dari sektor industri tersebut harus dievaluasi. Dalam Tugas Akhir ini dianalisa pola penyebaran SO2 yang berasal dari cerobong asap PT. Petrokimia Gresik selama 1 tahun. Gaussian Plume Model dipilih sebagai model untuk analisis dan perhitungan besarnya konsentrasi SO2 pada setiap titik yang telah ditentukan. Perhitungan dilakukan dengan menggunakan software Matlab sedangkan plot pola penyebaran dengan menggunakan software Surfer. Dari analisis dan perhitungan yang dilakukan diperoleh hasil Konsentrasi tertinggi pada bulan Desember 2006 sebesar 552894g m3 . Kriteria kestabilan atmosfer yang labil juga menimbulkan dampak penyebaran konsentrasi SO2 tidak menyebar rata dan tidak menjauhi sumber looping.


ABSTRACT

Pollutant from polluted air which is SO2 mainly came from industrial sector. This polluted air can dangered people directly or indirectly. PT. Petrokimia Gresik is one of fertilizer produsen which located in Kabupaten Gresik. This company is one of sulphur dioxide source from industrial sector. Therefore dispertion of sulphur dioxide from this company should be evaluated. In This Final Project we analyze sulphur dioxide dispertion pattern which come from PT. Petrokimia Gresik Chimney in one year. Gaussian Plume Model selected as SO2 model analyzer and calculation with select some nodes coordinate from the area. For calculation we use Matlab and for pattern plot we use surfer. From calculation and analytion proccess we get the highest concentration 552894g m3 happen on December 2006 with atmosphere stability criteria C. Unstable atmosphere stability criteria causing SO2 concentration not spreading equally and not move far from the source looping.
