COMPARATIVE STUDY OF FLAT PLATE-SHEARWALL STRUCTURE SYSTEM AND FLAT PLATE SYSTEM OF RUSUNAWA ITS APARTEMENT BUILDING IN SEISMIC ZONE 4

ABSTRAK

Pembangunan konstruksi gedung beton bertulang dewasa ini terus berkembang salah satunya ialah dari sector hunian atau tempat tinggal . Sudah banyak metode yang dikembangkan sejalan dengan perkembangan konstruksi gedung tersebut sebelumnya . Sampai saat ini pembangunan gedung gedung di Indonesia masih menggunakan metode yang konvensional balok-kolom . Flat plate merupakan sistem yang relatif baru bagi negara kita karena aplikasinya masih sangat sedikit dibandingkan sistem konvensional . Flat plate merupakan sistem pelat lantai dua arah yang memikul beban kerja langsung kekolom tanpa distribusi kearah tributary dari balok panelnya . Wolfgang Scheuler 1976 menambahkan selain efek punching shear kerugian dari sistem flat plate ini ialah beban mati yang besar tidak menguntungkan apabila menghadapi kondisi pondasi sulit seperti didaerah Surabaya . Kedua Rasio tebal terhadap bentangan depth of span yang kecil dapat menyebabkan lendutan pelat terlihat besar dan yang terakhir ialah kemampuan bentangan yang relatif pendek 15-25 kaki atau sampai 35 kaki bila prategang dalam membatasi kemampuannya untuk menyesuaikan diri terhadap tata letak partisi yang berubah ubah . Pada studi ini analisa dimulai dari penentuan dua buah model yakni flat plate dengan shearwall dan flat plate biasa i kemudian menentukan pembebanan masing masing model dilanjutkan ke analisa mekanika pembebanan dan pendetailan elemen elemen struktur masing masing model . Evaluasi dilakukan untuk mengetahui tiap tiap model setelah itu dihitung volume penggunaan beton dan tulangan dalam 1 buah portal yang bekerja agar dapat dilihat efisiensi dari tiap tiap system . dari hasil evaluasi tersebut di bandingkan satu sama lain sistem mana yang paling baik hemat .


ABSTRACT

Construction project of reinforcement concrete building always developed until now one each is from living place and home sector . Many method has been developed through development of building construction technologies before . Until now building project in Indonesia still use conventional method beam column method . Flat plate is a new relative concept for our country because using of this concept is minority than conventional method . Flat plate is kind of two way slab system which resistante the working load to column directly without distribute this to beam with tributary area like conventional method . Wolfgang Scheuler 1976 said that other than punching shear failure problem disadvantage of this system Flat plate system is high value of dead load gives bad effect if it face hard condition soil like Surabaya . Secondary problem that thick ratio with depth of span have minimum value cause high deflexion and the last one is this system cant used in wide span approximately 15-25 feet and 35 feet if using prestress method to adapt the partition position which have changes . Analysis in this study begun from determined of two models that is flat plate with shearwall system and flat plate ordinary system . Then determine the working load each models to be analyze continuously and got element detailing after that . Evaluation like drift control to compare about structure behavior each other . For the last step is analyzing the volume of using concrete and reinforcement one portal to conclusion the best system for choose later cheapest .
