OPTIMIZATION STUDY OF FLEXURAL REINFORCEMENT OF REINFORCED CONCRETE BEAMS USING GENETIC ALGORITHM METHOD

ABSTRAK

Balok adalah salah satu elemen dari suatu struktur dimana pada elemen tersebut bekerja berbagai macam beban yang dapat menimbulkan momen lentur padanya . Akibat adanya momen lentur pada balok tersebut salah satu bagian mengalami tarik dan yang lainnya mengalami tekan. Untuk mengatasi tarik yang terjadi pada balok beton bertulang maka dipasang tulangan baja . Metoda algoritma genetika merupakan salah satu metoda untuk melakukan optimasi. Metoda ini diadopsi dari proses genetik yang terjadi pada makhluk hidup. Proses ini kemudian dicoba diterapkan dalam perencanaan struktur sehingga dapat menghasilkan struktur yang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimasi tulangan lentur pada balok. dengan pertimbangan harga dari komponen sebuah penampang balok luas beton dan luas tulangan yang terpasang dengan tetap mempertimbangkan kekuatan momen nominal balok tersebut. Dari hasil penelitian pengoptimasian tulangan lentur pada balok dengan menggunakan metoda Algoritma Genetika mampu memilih secara langsung ukuran ukuran balok dan diameter tulangan lentur sehingga diperoleh balok dengan harga yang optimum dengan hal hal yang berpengaruh didalamnya adalah harga crossover harga mutasi dan harga K.


ABSTRACT

A beam is element of the structure which vary forces work on it that cause the flexural moment on that beam. The tensile and compressive forces on the beam are made by the flexural moment. Reinforcement is used to prevent tensile on the concrete beams. Genetic Algorithm Method is one of the method to do the optimization. This method is adopted by the creature genetic process. This process is used to get optimal structure in structural design. Main purpose of this research is to optimize the flexural reinforcement of reinforced concrete beam with considering the price of the beam section and the steel reinforcement but also considering the nominal strength of the beam itself. The research result of the optimization of the flexural reinforcement in reinforced beam using the genetic algorithm can choose the beam section and flexural reinforcement so the reinforced beam with optimum price is achieved. With matters that had an influenced in the optimizing are crossover value mutation value and K value.
