ABSTRAK

Penggunaan hydraulic excavator pada bidang industri umumnya digunakan untuk penyiapan lahan dan pengangkutan material misalnya dalam hal earth moving. Operasi excavating yang paling efisien adalah mulai dari atas permukaan sampai ke bagian bawah. Kemampuan untuk melakukan operasi ini tergantung dari kecepatan piston yang bergerak di dalam masingmasing silinder dan jauh-pendeknya jangkauan arm. Dengan demikian setiap perubahan posisi kecepatan percepatan dan gaya-gaya yang bekerja pada joint harus diperhatikan agar hydraulic excavator dapat bekerja secara optimum. Penganalisaan kinematika dan dinamika mekanisme dilakukan secara analitis karena mulai dari pemasukkan data proses perhitungan penganalisaan hasil dan penampilan grafik dapat dilakukan di dalam program aplikasi. Perubahan posisi adalah yang dianalisa pertama kali kemudian kecepatan lalu percepatan. Metoda analisa Gauss-Jordan digunakan untuk menyelesaikan persamaan-persamaan yang menghitung gaya joint dan gaya hidrolik. Program aplikasi tersebut dibuat dengan software Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0. Data hasil perhitungan ditampilkan dalam bentuk tabel dan grafik. Visualisasi gerakan dan lintasan joint-joint dapat dilihat dari simulasi dua dimensi. Hasil analisa yang diperoleh adalah gaya joint maksimum terjadi pada joint yang menyambungkan boom dan arm. Sedangkan daya hidrolik vi maksimum terjadi pada silinder arm. Hasil analisa ini dapat digunakan untuk mengoptimalkan kinerja dari hydraulic excavator.


ABSTRACT

Utilization of hydraulic excavator in industrial sector is usually used for landscape preparation and material-conveyance such as earth moving. The most efficient excavating operation is begun from the material surface to the bottom. This operation depends on piston velocities in each cylinder and reach of arm. Every single change in position velocity acceleration and joint forces must be considered in order to maximize the work of hydraulic excavator. Analyzing process of kinematics and dynamics was calculated analytically. From beginning of data entry calculation process output analysis and graphics appearance could be shown by the application programme. Position alteration was analyzed first time followed by velocity and acceleration. Gauss-Jordan analysis methode is used to solve the equations that count joint forces and hydraulic forces. This application programme was made with Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 software. The result of calculation appeared in tables and graphics. Visualization of movement and joint path could be seen at two dimension 2D simulation. From the result of analysis it is concluded that the maximum force takes place in the joint between boom and arm body. In addition the maximum hydraulic power occurred in arm cylinder. These whole analysis might be used to optimize the performance of hydraulic excavator.
