ABSTRAK

Rod Metering Size Press merupakan salah satu komponen penting dalam pembuatan kertas yang berkualitas karena berfungsi sebagai pelapis kertas untuk mencapai tingkat kehalusan sesuai dengan tingkat yang diinginkan. Analisa reliability pada Rod Metering Size Press diperlukan untuk menentukan reliability dari komponen komponen penyusunnya karena mampu memprediksi tingkat kehandalan sebagai bentuk performansi dari Rod Metering Size Press. Secara kuantitatif diperoleh reliability total Rst 02 pada saat t100 jam sebagai upaya untuk memperbaiki reliability dilakukan reliability improvement dengan metode AGREE sehingga tercapai reliabillity total Rt06 Rt065 Rt07 kemudian dilakukan perbandingan nilai MTBF untuk tiap Rgoal dan tiap waktu operasi sehingga didapat nilai MTBF yang paling baik yaitu reliability improvement pada Rt07 dengan waktu operasi komponen 840 jam 35 hari. Sedangkan untuk nilai availability total inherent sebesar 095.


ABSTRACT

Rod Metering Size Press is one of important thing to make high quality paper that function is sizing paper to make paper has more good surface. Thats why instrument reliability analysis in the Rod Metering Size Press is very important to make a reliability from its components because it can to predict a reliability level as a Rod Metering Size Press performance. With quantitative analysis obtained total reliability Rst02 at t100 hours as the effort to improve reliability used reliability improvement with AGREE method so the result goal of total reliability Rt06 Rt065 Rt07 then camparing MTBF value for each goals and each operation time the most value MTBF result is Improvement Reliability with goal Rt 07 at t 840 hours 35 days. While inherent total reliability value is 095.
