PERENCANAAN SISTEM TATA UDARA KERETA KERETA PENUMPANG PADA RANGKAIAN KERETA API EKSEKUTIF

PASSENGGER COACH AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM DESIGN OF EXECUTIVE RAILWAY TRAIN

ABSTRAK

Sistem penyegar udara hadir untuk memberikan kenyamanan secara termal. Penggunaan sistem penyegaran udara air Conditioning ini telah banyak digunakan pada berbagai bidang antara lain di gedung perkantoran industri tempat tinggal bahkan alat transportasi. Kereta Api sebagai alat transportasi menyediakan sistem ini sebagai salah satu bentuk pelayanan terhadap para penumpangnya. Untuk dapat menentukan kapasitas mesin penyegar udara yang sesuai untuk kebutuhan dalam kereta Penumpang maupun Restorasi maka perlu dilakukan perhitungan beban-beban kalor yang harus dikeluarkan dan perancangan sistem dari ruangan yang ingin dikondisikan. Perhitungan beban pendinginan Cooling Load ini meliputi beban sensibel dan laten antara lain beban dari udara luar yang melewati dinding atap dan lantai beban dari penumpang beban dari peralatan elektrik ventilasi dan infiltrasi. Selain perhitungan beban pendinginan juga perlu dilakukan perencanaan distribusi udara agar seluruh ruang dapat dikondisikan sesuai kebutuhannya. Dari perhitungan yang dilakukan dengan asumsi kondisi lingkungan bertemperatur 34 C 93.2 F dengan RH 70 dan kondisi rancangan dalam gerbong bertemperatur 23.5 C 74.3 F dengan RH 50 didapatkan kondisi puncak beban pendinginan terjadi yang pada pukul 14.00 dengan beban total pendinginan Grand total Heat untuk Kereta Penumpang sebesar 87919 Btuhr dan beban total pendinginan untuk Kereta Restorasi sebesar 59719 Btuhr. Untuk menangani beban-beban pendinginan tersebut maka untuk Kereta Penumpang dipilihlah mesin penyegar udara Air Coditioning jenis paket roof mounted unit merk SEMKO type RSK 502 MR dengan kapasitas pendinginan 55000 Btuhr. Sedang kan untuk Kereta restorasi merk AIR INTERNATIONAL TRANSIT Model RPR17LA5 berkapasitas 60000 Btuh. Pada Kereta Penumpang digunakan 2 unit mesin pendingin sedangkan pada Kereta Restorasi digunakan 1 unit mesin pendingin.


ABSTRACT

Air conditioning system appeared to provide a thermal convenience. Air conditioning has used in many site such as office building industry residencial and even for transportation. As a transportation mode railway train provide air conditioning system as a service for their consumer To determine the capacity of the air conditioning machine that appropriate for the passenger coach and restoration heat load analysis from desirable room as the output is needed. The cooling load analysis including sensible load and latent load for examples a load which is come from the utside that get through the wall roof and floor. The Load that came from the passenger it self electricity equipment load ventilation infiltration. Despite of cooling load analysis we need to design the air distribution system so all of the room included. As the result we have the cooling load peak hour in 14.00 WIB grand total heat is 87919 Btuhr and grand total heat for restoration coach is 52103 Btuhr. And the assumption enviroment temperature 34 C 93.2 F RH 70 and the temperature inside of the coach is 23.5 C 74.3 F RH 50 . To provide all of this load we choose roof mounted unit type air conditiong from SEMKO type RSK 502 MR cooling capacity of this type 55000 Btuhr. Restoration coach we use AIR INTERNATIONAL TRANSIT Model RPR17LA5 with capacity 6000 Btuh. We use two unit of this conditioning machine and one unit in restoration coach.
