ABSTRAK

PT. Hari Terang Industry merupakan salah satuprodusen baterai dry cell terbesar di Indonesia. Limbah baterai yang mengandung zat kimia berbahaya dan kandungan logamberat dapat m enimbulkan bahaya jika tidak dikelola dengan baik. Trade off yang muncul dalam pertimbangan biaya dan lingkungan menyebabkan lingkungan seringkali diabaikan dalam pertimbangan penentuan kebijakan dalam perusahaan. Pada penelitian ini akan dirancang sistem dengan konsep sustainable manufacturing dan model pengambilan keputusan untuk pemilihan alternatif sistem life cycle komponen dengan mempertimbangkan faktor biaya sosial dan lingkungan secara bersamaan. Analisa pengambilan keputusan dilakukan dengan metode Benefit Cost Ratio with AHP. Tools ini digunakan dengan pertimbangan aspek kuantitatif dan kualitatif yang terlibat dalam proses pengambilan keputusan dengan demikian trade off yang terjadi dapat diminimalisasi. Pada tahap akhir dilakukan uji sensitivitas untuk mengetahui efek tiap kriteria terhadap keputusan yang dihasilkan. Diharapkan dengan penentuan alternatif life cycle komponen yang terbaik akan menunjang pelaksanaan awal konsep sustainable manufacturing di perusahaan.Solusi yang diberikan adalah perancangan sistem rantai tertutup yaitu dengan mengembalikan tanggungjawab pengelolaan limbah baterai end of life kepada manufacturer. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai benefit cost ratio sistem rantai tertutup memiliki nilai yang lebih besar dibandingkan sistem rantai terbuka existing. Penerapan system dengan konsep sustainable manufacturing memberikan benefit yang lebih besar daripada cost yang ditimbulkan dengan nilai benefit cost ratio sebesar 133 sedangkan pada sistem existing memberikan benefit lebih rendah daripada cost yang ditimbulkan dengan nilai benefit cost ratio sebesar 0445. Nilai ini tidak sensitif terhadap perubahan tunggal nilai preferensi subkriteria dari alternatif dan kesimpulan yang didapatkan tetap yaitu penerapan sistem rantai tertutup merupakan solusi dalam mengatasi permasalahan pada sistem existing.


ABSTRACT

Hari Terang Industry PT is one of the biggest dry cell battery manufacturers in Indonesia. Battery waste which contains dangerous chemical and heavy metal material may cause problems if its not properly managed. Trade off shown in cost and environment consideration lead to a lack of environment factor used in deciding companys policy. This research will provide system design with sustainable manufacturing approach and decision making model to choose the best component life cycle system alternatives by using cost social and environment aspect together as considerations.Benefit Cost Ratio with AHP method is used to make decision making analysis. This tools used due to quantitative and qualitative aspect involved in decision making process to minimize trade off. Sensitivity analysis is used at the end phase of this research to identify every criteria effect on the decision made. It hopes that the decision to choose the best component life cycle alternatives will support the early stage of sustainable manufacturing concept implementation in the company.This research result show that benefit cost ratio of closed loop system is better than the open loop system. The implementation of system using sustainable manufacturing approach brings bigger benefit that the cost produced with 133 benefit cost ratio score. By the sensitivity analysis done changes made on every sub criteria preference score of alternative will not bring any changes on the decision made which is the closed loop system implementation is a solution to encounter problem exist on open loop system
