ABSTRAK

Perkembangan sektor perindustrian yang semakin pesat berperan terhadap pertumbuhan perekonomian. Selain itu dengan adanya perkembangan teknologi saat ini memberikan dampak lingkungan yang cukup signifikan dan berdampak pada perubahan yang dinamis terhadap keseimbangan lingkungan. Untuk itulah perlu adanya suatu identifikasi lingkungan. Indentifikasi ini nantinya diperlukan untuk mengetahui sektor mana yang memberikan kontribusi terbesar terhadap lingkungan dan setelah itu dapat dilakukan perbaikan untuk mengurangi dampak lingkungan. Dalam pemilihan alternatif ini nantinya dimunculkan beberapa alternatif dengan didukung beberapa criteria sehingga dalam pengambilan keputusan akan diperoleh alternatif perbaikan yang optimal. Life Cycle Assessment merupakan suatu metode yang digunakan untuk melakukan identifikasi life cycle produk Kikir Files yang berkaitan dengan kontribusinya terhadap lingkungan sehingga akan diketahui bagian mana yang memberikan kontribusi terbesar terhadap lingkungan. Dalam melakukan metode ini akan dibantu dengan menggunakan Software SIMAPRO 5.0 dimana didapat bahwa generator memberikan kontribusi terbesar. Dari usulan perbaikan terdapat tiga alternatif untuk mengganti material High carbon steel bard. ELECTRE III sebagai metode MCDM yang digunakan untuk merangking alternatif perbaikan dari urutan prioritas yang terbaik sampai yang terburuk. Dengan menggunakan metode ini didapatkan urutan rangking yaitu steel recycled low carbon steel bard dan grey cast iron.


ABSTRACT

The industrial sector contribute significantly to economic growth. However this growth could imerge on environmental impact seriously. Consequently the environmental balance would be disturbated. In order to evaluate to improve the the environment and in the fact tire to protect both of industry and environment. This research concern to seek which sector could be identified. By which allow us to choose the alternative decision for optimizing the management. Life Cycle Assessment is concept which used to identify life cycle files product related its contribution to environment so it will be known which stage that gives contribution toward environment. This method will be supported using SIMAPRO software in which generator that gives the biggest contribution. The result of this research based on LCA score shown that are three alternative substitution for high carbon steel bard that could be implemented taking into allow the environmental criteria. Due to many criteria considered in treat of environmental criteria that are material cost environmental impact hardness number and compatibility to production. In this research we proposed ELECTRE III for evaluating which one of the best alternative should be considering the ELECTRE III methods results the conclusion that steel recycled is the best alternative ranking 1 and subsequently low carbon steel bard and grey cast iron are the lower ranking priority alternative.
