Description:

Tanker cargo system, terkecuali pada kasus tertentu, pada dasarnya mempunyai dua tipe yaitu piped system dan free flow system, atau kombinasi keduanya. Dilengkapi satu atau lebih ruang pompa cargo, jumlahnya ditetapkan berdasarkan tingkat cargo yang harus dibawa oleh kapal, sama halnya untuk menentukan jumlah pompa dan ukurannya yang menjadi kesatuan pada system. Piped system lebih banyak digunakan dan system ini terdiri dari sejumlah pipa yang berukuran besar sebagai pipa utama dengan pipa-pipa cabangnya, peralatan, pompa, valve dan control. Autopipe adalah software untuk menganalisa dan menghitung tegangan pada pipa, analisa flange, analisa dari support, displacement, dan code stress dalam kondisi statis dan dinamis. Program Autopipe dapat menganalisa efek yang ditimbulkan oleh combination load diseluruh system perpipaan. Dari pembuatan model, loading (pembebanan) dan analisa. Dari ketiga hal tersebut akan dihasilkan output stress dan defleksi sehingga tercapai tujuan untuk menganalisa kondisi yang diinginkan pada system tersebut. Pada penelitian ini telah dilakukan pemodelan sistem perpipaan dengan mengikuti code ASME B31.4 yang terdapat pada Autopipe dengan data pipa standart ASME/ANSI B36.10 tanpa mill tolerance, dan kemudian menganalisa output dari Loading (pembebanan) yang diterima sistem disertai dengan memasukkan beberapa kombinasi load untuk membandingkan pembebanan mana yang paling berpengaruh pada cargo piping system. Dari hasil analisa tersebut dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa tegangan paling ekstrim pada jalur perpipaan terjadi pada saat kapal mengalami hogging. Hal ini ditunjukkan di dalam analisa dinamis dimana terdapat point-point kritis dengan rasio jauh diatas harga allowablenya.

Tanker Cargo, except in specific case, generally have two types, piped system and free flow system, or combination of both. Capacity and characteristic of cargoing systems as well as cargo oil mill determine the number, size, and type of cargo pump, cargo piping systems, and cargo pump room. Those parameters are related to each other as the whole system. Piped system much used and this system is consist a few pipe that have big size as the main pipe with branch of pipes, tools, pumps, valves, and control. Autopipe is software to analyze and calculate stress on pipe, flange analyze, analize from support, displacement and code stress in static and dynamic condition. Autopipe program can analize the effect of combination load on piping system. From making modell, loading, and analize produce output stress and deflection, so it can reach purpose to analyze condition system. This study has examined modeling and analysing cargo piping system using Autopipe software base on ASME code B 31.4 for piping system and B 36.10 for the standart of pipe material and size. The simulation carried on the load combination to investigate the most severe stress on the cargo piping system. Results of simulation shows that at hogging condition, the cargo pipes has the most severe stress. This is evidenced by critical points which the stress ratio/code stress is excessing the allowable value.
