ABSTRAK

Beban non linier dewasa ini banyak digunakan pada sistem tenaga listrik. Hal ini menimbulkan dampak serius pada harmonisa gelombang arus maupun tegangan. Berbagai macam metode telah dikembangkan untuk mengatasi masalah harmonisa pada sistem tenaga.Metode konvensional menggunakan filter pasif LC tetapi filter pasif hanya bisa memberikan kompensasi pada orde harmonisa tertentu. Sebaliknya menggunakan filter aktif shunt membutuhkan rating arus yang besar dengan bandwidth arus yang lebar.Pada tugas akhir ini direncanakan dan disimulasikan Parallel Hybrid Power Filter PHPF yang mengkombinasikan antara filter pasif dan filter aktif. PHPF terdiri dari filter aktif dengan rating kecil yang di seri dengan filter pasif kemudian disambungkan pada Point of Common Coupling PCC paralel dengan beban non linier. Pada PHPF ini menggunakan metode Indirect Current Control dimana filter aktif berfungsi sebagai sumber tegangan harmonisa mengkompensasi tegangan drop pada filter pasif saat frekuensi harmonisa pada PCC.Filter aktif dikontrol sehingga impedansi nol terjadi pada saat arus dengan frekuensi harmonisa mengalir pada filter pasif dan impedansi yang tinggi terjadi pada saat arus fundamental. Dengan cara tersebut maka semua arus harmonisa akan masuk ke filter pasif. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan THD tegangan pada PCC menurun dari 56 menjadi 016 dan THD arus menurun dari 7789 menjadi 185.


ABSTRACT

Recently non-linier loads are used in power system. It brings serious harmonic problems. Many methods have been proposed to solve it. Conventionally a passive LC power filter is used to attenuate the harmonics. Howeverthe conventional passive filter provides fixed compensation. The shunt active filters require a large current rating with high current bandwidth.This final project proposes Parallel Hybrid Power Filter PHPF which combines passive filter and active filter. The PHPF system consists of shunt passive filter which is connected in series with the active filter. Indirect Current Control is used in PHPF which active filter acts as a harmonic voltage source compensating voltage drop in passive filter at harmonic frequencies at PCC. Active filter is controlled in such away that zero impedance is presented for the current flowing in the passive filter at harmonic frequencies and a high resistance at fundamental frequency. This forces the entire harmonics of load current to flow into passive filter. The simulation result show that THD of source voltage decreases from 56 to 0.16 and THD of source current from 7789 to 185.
