Description:

Senyawa terpenoid dan turunan sinamat yang disarankan sebagai α-Amirin dan isopentil 3-(4-metoksifenil) propanoat telah diisolasi dari ekstrak n-heksana kulit batang tumbuhan Litsea glutinosa (madang). Isolasi dan fraksinasi dilakukan secara ekstraksi maserasi, kromatografi lapis tipis (KLT), kromatografi cair kolom vakum (KCKV), kromatotron dan rekristalisasi. Identifikasi struktur dilakukan berdasarkan data spektroskopi ultra violet (UV), infra merah (IR), spektroskopi 13C-NMR dan spektroskopi 1H-NMR. Aktivitas biologi kedua senyawa ditunjukkan oleh nilai LC50 sebesar 98,61 ppm untuk senyawa isopentil 3-(4-metoksifenil) propanoat dan 198,42 ppm untuk senyawa α-Amirin dengan metode BSLT dan nilai LC50 sebesar 167,28 ppm untuk senyawa isopentil 3-(4-metoksifenil) propanoat dan 231,02 ppm untuk α-Amirin dengan larva instar III Aedes aegypti.

Terpenoids and cinnamate derivates suggested as α-Amyrin and isopentyl 3-(4-methoxyphenyl) propanoate were isolated from hexane extract of the stem bark of Litsea glutinosa (madang). The methods used in this research included maseration extraction and fractination using thin layer chromatography (TLC), Liquid column vacuum chromatography, chromatotron and recrystalization. The structure identification of these compounds were established using the ultra violet (UV) spectroscopy, infra red (IR) spectroscopy, 13C-NMR spectroscopy and 1H-NMR spectroscopy. Bioactivities both compounds were shown by the LC50 values, i.e. 98,61 ppm for isopentyl 3-(4-methoxyphenyl) propanoate and 198,42 ppm for α-Amyrin with Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT) using Artemia salina L. and the LC50 values, i.e. 167,28 ppm for isopentyl 3-(4-methoxyphenyl) propanoate and 231,02 ppm for α-Amyrin insecticide assay using larva instar III Aedes aegypti.
