ABSTRAK

Two Degree of Freedom Internal Model Control Two DF IMC merupakan salah satu dari model based control dimana algoritma kontrol yang menerapkan set point filter dan disturbance estimation yang bertujuan untuk menghindari menurunnya kestabilan respon sistem ketika ada perubahan set point dan juga saat ada disturbance sehingga sistem akan tetap stabil. Two DF IMC mempunyai dua parameter tuning yaitu kontroler filter factor dan disturbance filter factor r yang digunakan untuk menentukan performansi sistem pengendaliannya. Two DF IMC diaplikasikan pada sistem pengendalian unit operasi furnace tepatnya pada loop pengendalian temperatur keluaran crude oil. Furnace yang dijadikan model oleh penulis adalah unit furnace-3 di PPT MIGAS Cepu Jawa Tengah. Simulasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan software Simulink dan Matlab. Hasil perancangan algoritma kontrol Two DF IMC menunjukkan variasi nilai kontroler filter factor 0.1 dan disturbance filter factor r3 untuk loop pengendalian temperatur menghasilkan respons terbaik. Yaitu settling time Ts 5454 s Maksimum Overshoot Mp - Peak Time Tp - Error Steady state offset 0.0005 Rise Time Tr 1144s


ABSTRACT

Two DF IMC is one of model based control where its kind of control algorithm using set point filter and disturbance estimation to avoid decrease of systems stability when the set point is changes and when a disturbance exist in process so system will keep in stability. Two DF IMC have two tune parameter there are filter factor controller and disturbance filter factor r that are used to set its control system performance. Two DF IMC is used to furnace temperature control loop in PPT Migas Cepu Central Java. Simulation using software component that is Simulink and Matlab. Two Degree of Freedom IMC shows that value of filter factor controller 0.1 and disturbance filter factor r 3 giving the best response for the furnace temperature loop. The value index of performances are settling time Ts 5454 s Maximum Overshoot Mp - Peak Time Tp - Error Steady state offset 0.0005 rise time Tr1144 s
