Penyakit jantung merupakan penyakit yang mematikan. Pada penyakit jantung salah satu gejalanya adalah kelainan dalam bentuk morfologis dan juga fisiologis dari jantung itu sendiri. Murmur adalah salah satu gejala kelainan pada jantung. Dimana murmur terjadi karena adanya turbulensi yang tidak normal pada aliran darah. sehingga murmur dapat didefinisikan sebagai suara tambahan yang tidak normal yang di akibatkan oleh aliran darah yang berturbulensi yang mengakibatkan vibrasi Pada penelitian ini di usulkan sebuah sistem yang berbasis komputer yang dapat medeteksi kelainan jantung dengan metode pengolahan sinyal dan kecerdasan buatan. Metode pemrosesan sinyal yang di pakai adalah dekomposisi wavelet dan ciri frekuensi yang terkandung diekstraksi dengan mengunakan STFT yang hasilnya dijadikan inputan di neural network sebagai pengenalan pola.Hasil yang di dapat dari penelitian ini bahwa dari empat kelas kateria yang di pilih normal, murmur sistolik ,murmur diastolik serta kontinyu. Sistem mampu membedakan tiga kelas yaitu normal,murmur sistolik, murmur diastolik, sedang untuk continue sistem gagal untuk mendeteksi. Kegagalan sistem di karenakan karena kesalahan pada pengenalan siklus dari fase jantung ( sistolik atau diastolik). Persentasi pengujian yang di dapatkan dengan metode ini cukup memuaskan dikarenakan sistem mampu mengenali dimana pengujian untuk normal mencapai hasil 100% untuk murmur sistolik mencapai 96.2% dan murmur diastolik mencapai 89.47% sedangkan untuk murmur kontinyu hanya dapat mengenali 28.4%. Saran untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut adalah dengan digunakanya metode penganalisaan yang lebih teliti seperti transformasi wavelet kontinyu atau CWT.

Heart disease is one of deathly disease. In heart disease one of its symptoms is degradation on its morphologic form and it’s functionally. Murmur is one of heart disease symptoms. Murmur happen because of turbulence or a blood stream. So murmur can be define as un normal additional sound which caused by turbulence blood stream an then it’s make a vibration. In this research we proposing a computer based system for detecting a heart disease trough heard sound, using signal processing and an artificial intelligence. The methods of signal processing are wavelet decomposition and frequencies extraction using STFT which the result are used for neural network for input as pattern recognition. The result form this research are from 4 categories that we chose which are normal heart sound, murmur systolic , murmur diastolic, and continues murmur, system can detect 3 of classes consist of systolic murmur, diastolic murmur and normal heart sound, but system fail to detect continues murmur. The failure of the system caused by the false recognitions on heart phase in continues murmur. The percentage result of examination which in getting by this method is good enough because system able to recognize where examination for normal reach result 100% for systolic murmur 96.2% and diastolic murmur 89.47% while for murmur continue can only recognize 28.4%. Suggestion for the furthermore development is using more accurate method such as continues wavelet transform or CWT.
