PENGIRIMAN DATA JAM DIGITAL MELALUI JALA-JALA LISTRIK

DELIVERY OF DIGITAL TIME DATA USING POWERLINE

ABSTRAK

Selama ini ketepatan waktu jarang diperhatikan. Selisih satu atau dua menit bisa dibilang wajar. Permasalahan ini dapat diantisipasi dengan menggunakan media kabel dan media jala-jala listrik untuk menyamakan waktu. Jika jarak antar jam berjauhan penggunaan media kabel sebagai jalur pengiriman data kurang efisien. Akan tetapi dengan menggunakan media jala-jala listrik pengiriman data dapat dilakukan dengan cara yang lebih efisien. Dalam tugas akhir ini telah dirancang alat untuk mengirim data jam digital melalui jala-jala listrik yang terdiri dari transmitter dan receiver. Transmitter terdiri dari komputer rangkaian pengkonversi tegangan RS232 rangkaian modulator dan trafo kopling yang terhubung ke jala-jala listrik. Receiver terdiri dari trafo kopling yang terhubung ke jala-jala rangkaian demodulator dan rangkaian mikrokontroler untuk mengolah data yang ditampilkan pada seven segment. Telah dilakukan pengujian pengiriman data dengan baudrate 1200 bps dan frekwensi karier 125 kHz di ruang perkuliahan mulai dari jam 06.00 selama 24 jam. Hasil yang diperoleh dari jam 06.00 23.00 tidak ada error jam 23.00 03.00 diperoleh error 75.9 jam 03.00 06.00 tidak ada error. Kendala ini diakibatkan pengaruh dari perubahan beban puncak dari jala-jala listrik sehingga menyebabkan impedansi total jala-jala menjadi turun dan dapat mempengaruhi impedansi trafo kopling yang terhubung ke jala-jala listrik. Untuk dapat mengantisipasi kendala beban puncak dapat dibuat sistem tranceiver powerline carrier dengan metoda spread spektrum.


ABSTRACT

The accuracy of time seldom be paid attention until now. Difference of time one or two minute can be spelled out . This problems can anticipate by using cable media and powerline media to equalize time. If distance between a clock is far away usage of cable media as path delivery of data is less efficient. However by using powerline media delivery of data can be done more efficient. In this final duty have been designed appliance to send digital watch data through powerline which consist of and transmitter of receiver. Transmitter consist of computer modul of RS232 modulator and coupling transformer which incircuit to powerline. Receiver consist of coupling transformer which incircuit to powerline demodulator and modul of mikrokontroler to process data so data can be presented by using segment seven diplays. Have been tested the delivery of data with baudrate of 1200 bps career frequency of 125 kHz at lecturing room start from six oclock during 24 hour. Obtained result of 06.00 - 23.00 there is no error 23.00 - 03.00 obtained error 75.9 03.00 - 06.00 there is no error. This constraint is caused by chance of peak loadburden of powerline so that cause decrement total impedance of powerline and can influence the coupling transformer impedance which incircuit to powerline. It is possible to anticipate peak load by using system of tranceiver powerline carrier with method of spread spectrum.
