ABSTRAK

Generalized Predictive Control GPC merupakan algoritma kontrol modern dan menjadi salah satu yang paling dikenal dikalangan industri dan akademis. Algoritma kontrol ini memiliki performa yang baik bersifat robustness dan mampu menangani banyak persoalan pengendalian untuk plant dengan range yang lebar serta menghitung kejadian dari sinyal kendali dimasa datang dengan memastikan fungsi kuadrat antara output sistem yang diprediksi dan beberapa referensi prediksi. Fluidized bed boiler merupakan unit pembakaran untuk bahan bakar padat yang menghasilkan gas buang O2 yang besarnya tergantung dari bahan bakar yang dimasukkan dan udara pembakaran yang mempengaruhi terhadap degradasi performa dan tingkat emisinya. Metode Generalized predictive control diterapkan pada plant Fluidized bed boiler dengan pemodelan sistem menggunakan metode least square. Besar error validasi sistem 0.0347 dengan indeks minimize performansi eror 3.9477. Sistem kontrol prediktif ini mempu menghasilkan performa sistem yang bagus dan stabil pada perubahan set point yang diberikan. Untuk perubahan gangguan flue gas O2 set point naik diperoleh lag-time sebesar 5 detik overshoot sebesar 0.45 settling time 50 detik dan time rise sebesar 15 detik. Sedangkan untuk perubahan gangguan set point turun diperoleh lag-time 5 detik dengan settling time 50 detik.


ABSTRACT

Generalized Predictive Control GPC is modern algorithm control which become one of the most famous in industrial and academic circumstance. This algorithm control has a good performance robust and able to handle many problem of plant control in wide range and also predict the signal control which can occur in the future by optimizing quadrat function between predicted systems output and several predicted reference. Fluidized Bed Boiler is combustion unit of solid fuel which produce flue gas oxygen that level emission depend on fuel which filled and combustion air. There is effect to performance degradation and emission level. Generalized Predictive Control method applied on the Fluidized Bed Boiler system that modeled by using least Square method with validation error result 0.0347 and index of minimize performance error 3.9477. This predictive control system perform a goop system stable and the change of flue gas oxygen set point disturbance with result legtime 5 seconds overshoot 0.45 settling time 50 detik and time rise 15 seconds. Where as set point down disturbance result are lag-time 5 seconds with settling time 50 seconds.
