ABSTRAK

Dewasa ini konsep perencanaan struktur telah mengalami perkembangan yang disesuaikan dengan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi serta adanya berbagai pengalaman peristiwa bencana gempa. Sehingga system struktur perencanaan gedung perlu menganalisa beban akibat gempa. Untuk wilayah gempa kuat SRG Sistem Rangka Gedung yang menggunakan dinding geser sebagai penahan gaya lateral merupakan salah satu system struktur yang tepat untuk perencanaan gedung tahan gempa WG kuat Sistem struktur yang lain dirasa tepat untuk perencanaan gedung tahan gempa WG kuat adalah SRPMK system rangka pemikul momen khusus. Dalam tugas akhir ini penulis merencanakan modifikasi design gedung Diagnostic Center RSUD DR. Soetomo dengan 11 lantai termasuk basemen. Dalam perencanaan ini dipakai SRG dan SRPMk sebagai system struktur untuk wilayah gempa kuat. Karena bentuk gedung Diagnostik Center Dr. Soetomo ini tidak beraturan maka digunakan analisa dinamik sebagai analisa strukturnya. Antara kedua system struktur yang digunakan SRG dan SRPMK akan dilakukan perbandingan. Dari kedua system tersebut dicari system struktur paling ekonomis untuk bangunan tak beraturan di WG kuat. Dari studi yang telah dilakukan penulis diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa Sistem Rangka Gedung dengan menggunakan dinding geser lebih menguntungkan daripada SRPMK. Volume tulangan yang diperoleh dari SRG lebih kecil jumlahnya dibandingkan dengan Sistem Rangka Pemikul Momen.


ABSTRACT

Today structure planning concept has experienced that adapted with growth of science and technology and the existence of various event of earthquake. So the structure planning system of buildings needs to analyze buildings load effect of earthquake. For the zone of high earthquake SRG that use shearwall as lateral resistant are one of the correct structure system for planning building that hold up the zone of high earthquake. Other Structure system felt precisely is SRPMK. In final project writer plan to modify building design of Diagnostic Center RSUD DR. Soetomo with 11 floor including basement. This plan use SRG and SRPMK as structure system for the zone of high earthquake. Because Diagnostic Center Dr. Soetomo building form is irregular used dynamic analysis as structure analysis. Writer will compare both of the SRPMK and SRG to find system structure that more economic for Irregular building in high earthquake zone. From study done by writer the result is SRG using shearwall more advantage than SRPMK.
