ABSTRAK

Data mining adalah ekstraksi informasi atau pola yang penting dan menarik dari data yang ada di database yang besar. Kehadiran data mining dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan pertumbuhan data yang sangat cepat yang terjadi akhir-akhir ini. Clustering pengelompokan adalah proses untuk membentuk grup dari objek yang ada pada database yang mempunyai kemiripan. Algoritma Shared Nearest Neighbor SNN adalah algoritma clustering yang bekerja dengan menggunakan metode density based. Pada metode ini proses dimulai dari masing-masing objek atau masing-masing cluster yang pendefinisian kesamaan antara titik dilihat dari jumlah ketetanggaan terdekat dari dua titik yang berdiri sendiri dan kemudian dilakukan proses penggabungan sehingga menjadi cluster yang lebih besar lagi. Proses ini berjalan hingga terbentuk kondisi sebagai syarat cluster terpenuhi yaitu jumlah cluster yang diinginkan. Pada tugas akhir ini dibahas tentang desain dan implementasi algoritma clustering dengan algoritma SNN. Studi kasus yang digunakan adalah clustering wilayah Jawa Timur berdasarkan data perumahan yang diperoleh dari BPS kota Surabaya.


ABSTRACT

Data mining is an extraction from information or significant pattern and attractive from data in huge database. Data mining attendance background by very fast datas grow problem recently. Clustering is a process to form group from object in database which similarity. Shared Nearest Neighbor SNN algorithm is a clustering algorithm that active use density based method. In this method process start from each object or each cluster which have similarity definition between nearest neighbor point quantity from two stand alone point and then do bundle process until to be more than big cluster. This process run until formed condition as cluster requirement complete that is cluster quantity wished. This task end study about design and clustering algorithm implementation with SNN algorithm. This study case use East Java region clustering based from housing data obtained from Surabaya city BPS.
